00:00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:00:20All praise is due to Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:00:26And peace and blessings be upon His chosen servants,
00:00:31especially upon the best of them and the Seal of the Prophets,
00:00:34Muhammad, the Trustworthy, and upon his family and all his companions.
00:00:41As for the rest, Allah, the Exalted, said, as mentioned in Surah Al-Baqarah,
00:00:48I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
00:00:50In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:00:54And say not of those who are killed in the cause of Allah dead,
00:00:58but they are alive, but you perceive not.
00:01:03And Allah, the Exalted, said, as mentioned in Surah Al-Ibran,
00:01:08And let not those who are killed in the cause of Allah be counted dead,
00:01:12but they are alive with their Lord, being provided for.
00:01:18And Allah, the Exalted, said, as mentioned in Surah Al-Qasas,
00:01:23That is the abode of the Hereafter.
00:01:24We make it for those who do not want to be high in the earth or corruption.
00:01:31And the end is for the righteous.
00:01:34Sadaqallahul Azeem.
00:01:37My Lord, open my chest and ease my affair,
00:01:39and sweeten a little of my tongue, so that my speech will be clear.
00:01:43O Allah, our Lord, inspire us with our right and save us from the evil of our souls.
00:01:49O Allah, show us the truth, and grant us to follow it,
00:01:53and save us from the evil of our souls.
00:01:56Ameen.
00:01:57O Lord of the worlds.
00:02:01You know that today is the fifteenth day of Muharram al-Haram.
00:02:07It is as if it has only been five days since the day of Asura.
00:02:13About eleven days ago, in Karachi,
00:02:20I was addressing a large gathering under the auspices of Farhan Qalab,
00:02:26and I mentioned the philosophy of martyrdom of the Holy Qur'an.
00:02:31Although my main topic was the philosophy of martyrdom of the Holy Qur'an,
00:02:36I was with him.
00:02:39Because this is usually a time of martyrdom.
00:02:43Hazrat Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, was martyred in Dhul Hijj.
00:02:48On the first day of Muharram al-Haram, Hazrat Umar, may Allah be pleased with him,
00:02:54was martyred, although he was injured, on the 28th of Dhul Hijj.
00:02:59Then, on the tenth day of Muharram, the second day of Karbala took place.
00:03:02So, these are the days when these topics are discussed.
00:03:08So, along with the philosophy of martyrdom, as a ground,
00:03:15I also mentioned the historical background of the martyrdom of the Caliphs of Salasa and Saniha Karbala.
00:03:22But that was not my main topic.
00:03:25The real time was spent in the philosophy of martyrdom of the Holy Qur'an.
00:03:30And secondly, in the description of this historical background,
00:03:34it is obvious that as I was reaching Saniha Karbala,
00:03:37time was running out and my courage was now responding.
00:03:43That is why it was discussed in great detail.
00:03:47The next day, a discussion took place under the television.
00:03:54And that discussion was telecasted on the tenth day of Muharram al-Haram.
00:04:02On the basis of that discussion, I made a promise to the leaders of that program,
00:04:09Aniq Ahmed Sahab, and I complained to him at the end of the program,
00:04:16that the topic he told me was the philosophy of martyrdom of the Holy Qur'an.
00:04:22So, it is obvious that I was mentally prepared for that.
00:04:25But when he started the gathering there,
00:04:28he mentioned the topic of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain.
00:04:35Now, although there is a mutual relationship between them,
00:04:40but there is a big difference that you started with the philosophy of martyrdom
00:04:45and reached the topic of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain.
00:04:48And the only difference is that this is the real topic.
00:04:51Anyway, whatever was discussed at that time,
00:04:53it is obvious that there was no other topic.
00:04:57Whatever was discussed, I took full part in it.
00:05:00But the second injustice he committed was that
00:05:03he deleted many parts of my statement.
00:05:08Because of that,
00:05:10my point of view could not be fully conveyed to the readers or the audience.
00:05:18And secondly, there were some misunderstandings.
00:05:22So, I thought that in this Friday,
00:05:25I will clarify them.
00:05:26That is why I insisted on the topic
00:05:30of the historical background of Saniha-e-Karbala.
00:05:35Alhamdulillah, as far as the discussion was concerned,
00:05:38which was held in his recording room,
00:05:41in the studio,
00:05:43it was held in a very peaceful and good manner.
00:05:47And there was no need for any argument.
00:05:54In general, there was a consensus on everything.
00:06:00And the speciality of that is that
00:06:02apart from me,
00:06:03among the Sunni scholars,
00:06:05there was Maulana Ihtiram ul Haqqani Sahib.
00:06:09And he was a very peaceful person.
00:06:12And two of the Shia scholars were also very reasonable,
00:06:18very serious,
00:06:20and a person of great decency and decency.
00:06:25I remember one of them.
00:06:29Allama Dr. Qalb-e-Sadiq.
00:06:31He is from Lucknow.
00:06:34And I cannot say this in my own way.
00:06:37At this time,
00:06:39among the renowned scholars of the Ahl-e-Tashayyub in Bar-e-Azeem-e-Pak-e-Hind,
00:06:43he is the top of the list.
00:06:46There is no doubt about it.
00:06:48He is a very firm scholar of religion.
00:06:51Not only is he a scholar of religion,
00:06:52but he has also done a doctorate.
00:06:55The second thing is that
00:06:57he was also from Lucknow.
00:06:59And Maulana Syed Abu al-Hassan al-Nadwi,
00:07:01may Allah have mercy on him,
00:07:02he is also from Lucknow.
00:07:04He was from Raebareli,
00:07:05which is 40-45 miles away.
00:07:07But you know that his real center is Dar-ul-Uloom Nadwat-ul-Ulema Lucknow.
00:07:13So, he had a very close relationship with them.
00:07:17A great love for each other.
00:07:19And Maulana Ali, may Allah have mercy on him,
00:07:22also attended their gatherings.
00:07:24He also quoted a sentence of Maulana Ali, may Allah have mercy on him,
00:07:29that today we do not need to look towards Kufa and Nawsh,
00:07:33but we need to look towards Karbala.
00:07:36Anyway, Maulana Ali, may Allah have mercy on him,
00:07:38had a special relationship with Hazrat Ali, may Allah have mercy on him,
00:07:42and his great writing on Hazrat Ali's purified biography,
00:07:47he himself points out.
00:07:50So, Allama Doctor Qalb-e-Sadiq,
00:07:53he was one of the top scholars of the Ahl-e-Tashayyih.
00:08:00He had a special relationship with Maulana Ali.
00:08:04He had a special relationship with me.
00:08:06The reason for this is that he was a great advocate and supporter of unity among Muslims.
00:08:11The Shias and Sunnis, instead of hatred and division,
00:08:14want to have mutual understanding,
00:08:16closeness, and a solution to misunderstandings.
00:08:19For this reason, he had a special regard for me.
00:08:24I don't remember whether I met him in Karachi or not,
00:08:28but once he came to Lahore and I met him there.
00:08:33Then once I was in New York,
00:08:35and coincidentally he was also there,
00:08:38and coincidentally he was also there,
00:08:41for a very detailed meeting.
00:08:44My book is called a book,
00:08:46but it is something in between.
00:08:48The need and importance of Shia-Sunni understanding.
00:08:52He has been a regular advocate for this.
00:08:54He has ordered many copies of it.
00:08:57Here, the gatherings of Muharram-ul-Haram,
00:09:01this time also he had come for that.
00:09:04So, he introduced it to me,
00:09:06he praised it,
00:09:08and he sold many copies of it.
00:09:11So, here I have a background of that personality,
00:09:16who was a major representative of the Shia community.
00:09:21He has stated one point,
00:09:24the incident is that,
00:09:26my mind had not moved there before this.
00:09:29He said that,
00:09:31Those who become martyrs in the way of Allah,
00:09:34who become murderers in the way of Allah.
00:09:37In Surah Baqarah, it is said,
00:09:39Do not call them dead,
00:09:41and do not say to those who are killed,
00:09:43in the way of Allah, dead.
00:09:45They are alive, but you do not know them.
00:09:48They are alive, but you do not know them.
00:09:50But the verse in Surah Aal-e-Imran,
00:09:53Do not consider those who are killed,
00:09:55in the way of Allah, dead,
00:09:57but they are alive with their Lord,
00:09:59not to be considered among the dead,
00:10:02but you do not know them,
00:10:03to be considered among the dead,
00:10:05but they are alive with their Lord.
00:10:07So, he said,
00:10:09Do not call those who are killed,
00:10:11in the way of Allah, dead.
00:10:13It is wrong to think that.
00:10:15It should not come from the heart,
00:10:17that they are dead,
00:10:19but they are alive,
00:10:21with their Lord.
00:10:23Do not consider those who are killed,
00:10:25in the way of Allah, dead.
00:10:27I don't have the full name of the other Shia religious scholars, I don't have the full name of the other Shia religious scholars, I don't have the full name of the other Shia religious scholars,

00:11:47And there is only one possibility in this meaning,

00:14:51They can't plead ignorance,
00:14:53They can't plead ignorance,
00:14:55They can't plead ignorance,
00:14:57They can't plead ignorance,
00:14:59They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:01They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:03They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:05They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:07They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:09They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:11They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:13They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:15They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:17They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:19They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:21They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:23They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:25They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:27They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:29They can't plead ignorance,
00:15:31These are the first six verses of the Quran.
00:15:33The beginning of Surah Taubah has six verses.
00:15:35And Hazrat Ali says,
00:15:37And Hazrat Ali says,
00:15:39You know that this is the only Surah
00:15:41You know that this is the only Surah
00:15:43in which there is no mention of
00:15:45Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim.
00:15:47There are 113 Surahs that start with
00:15:49Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim.
00:15:51So what is the reason? Why isn't it here?
00:15:53Hazrat Ali says,
00:15:55This Surah was revealed with a sword in his hand.
00:15:57And in Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim
00:15:59In Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim
00:16:01There are two names of Allah,
00:16:03Ar-Rahman and Ar-Rahim.
00:16:05So this is the opposite of it.
00:16:07That now is the last chance for you,
00:16:09Either believe or be killed.
00:16:11In this, a third opportunity
00:16:13came automatically,
00:16:15Either leave this country and go.
00:16:17And many people have done this.
00:16:19But most people have bowed their heads.
00:16:21But the result was obvious.
00:16:23One was the apostates who
00:16:25accepted new prophecies.
00:16:27There was a man of zakat
00:16:29who stood up and said,
00:16:31I will not give you zakat.
00:16:33This was the reaction.
00:16:35The apostates of Arabs
00:16:37And Hazrat Abu Bakr
00:16:39This is a very important chapter
00:16:41of his book,
00:16:43With an iron fist.
00:16:45Although he was a very weak person.
00:16:47But the greatness of the
00:16:49mountains of the Himalayas
00:16:51has been revealed to him.
00:16:53With an iron fist,
00:16:55the apostates of Arabs
00:16:57did not do anything.
00:16:59And then the whole of Arabia
00:17:01consolidated the system of Islam
00:17:03and handed it over to Hazrat Umar.
00:17:05May Allah be pleased with you.
00:17:07The wars that took place
00:17:09during the time of Hazrat Umar
00:17:11The Roman Empire
00:17:13had two superpowers at that time.
00:17:15The Roman Empire,
00:17:17Caesar of Rome,
00:17:19Heraclius,
00:17:21Hercules,
00:17:23Caesar of Rome,
00:17:25was the ruler,
00:17:27was the emperor.
00:17:29And on the other hand,
00:17:31there was the Iranian Empire,
00:17:33Khosrow Pervaiz.
00:17:35But Islam did not clash
00:17:37with Christianity
00:17:39during the time of the Prophet.
00:17:41In fact, Najashi,
00:17:43may Allah have mercy on him,
00:17:45had given refuge to the Muslims.
00:17:47Maqauqas,
00:17:49the patriarch of Alexandria,
00:17:51was very generous.
00:17:53He sent gifts to the Prophet.
00:17:55Hercules also tried
00:17:57in some way,
00:17:59like 250 years ago,
00:18:01or 300 years ago,
00:18:03like Constantine,
00:18:05the emperor of Rome,
00:18:07he accepted Christianity
00:18:09and the whole empire became Christian.
00:18:11Therefore, his empire remained,
00:18:13his government remained.
00:18:15Similarly, all of us become Muslims.
00:18:17But he failed in that.
00:18:19He did not confront the Prophet.
00:18:21However,
00:18:23the matter of Iran was that
00:18:25his wings were broken.
00:18:27He choked the blessed name of the Prophet.
00:18:29The Prophet said, when he was informed
00:18:31that he had choked his empire,
00:18:33he broke it into pieces.
00:18:35Anyway, there was a strong reaction.
00:18:37And the Iranians,
00:18:39know that they have a very strong
00:18:41nationalism, even today.
00:18:43Strong nationalism.
00:18:45Therefore, they had a strong reaction.
00:18:47Their empire was destroyed.
00:18:49It became Christian.
00:18:51It did not exist anymore.
00:18:53Therefore, the counter-revolution
00:18:55that started from there,
00:18:57was started by Hormuzan,
00:18:59who was a great general.
00:19:01He saved his life with great courage.
00:19:03This is a very interesting incident.
00:19:05He was condemned
00:19:07by the Islamic government,
00:19:09by the Khilafat,
00:19:11that wherever he was found,
00:19:13he should be killed.
00:19:15Hazrat Umar said,
00:19:17he should be killed.
00:19:19He said, give me some water.
00:19:21Hazrat Umar said,
00:19:23ok, give me some water.
00:19:25He gave him a bowl of water.
00:19:27He said, give me a guarantee
00:19:29that until I drink this water,
00:19:31I will not be killed.
00:19:33He threw the bowl of water.
00:19:35How will you kill me?
00:19:37I did not drink that water.
00:19:39With this, he saved himself.
00:19:41Anyway, you can disagree
00:19:43that Hazrat Umar should not have
00:19:45accepted this excuse.
00:19:47But anyway, he had his own
00:19:49honor and dignity that he
00:19:51passed his promise.
00:19:53With his conspiracy,
00:19:55he martyred Hazrat Umar.
00:19:57This was the second
00:19:59counter-revolutionary movement.
00:20:01They thought that all this
00:20:03is going on,
00:20:05as if it is a fort.
00:20:07If the fort moves,
00:20:09how will the fort move?
00:20:11Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
00:20:13said,
00:20:15when there was a fight
00:20:17in the evening,
00:20:19Hazrat Umar said,
00:20:21I will go to the fort
00:20:23and command.
00:20:25Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
00:20:27said, no,
00:20:29you should not go.
00:20:31The fort will move
00:20:33until the fort is built.
00:20:35You are the fort
00:20:37of this system
00:20:39Anyway, they thought
00:20:41that all this is going on
00:20:43because of Umar.
00:20:45If Umar moves,
00:20:47everything will be settled.
00:20:49But it is obvious that
00:20:51the building of Prophet Muhammad
00:20:53was not so weak.
00:20:55After the death of Hazrat Umar,
00:20:57Hazrat Uthman was elected.
00:20:59And ten years before Hazrat Uthman,
00:21:01the era of Khilafat
00:21:03of Hazrat Umar is
00:21:05exactly the same.
00:21:07In our minds,
00:21:09it has been imagined that
00:21:11for twelve years,
00:21:13there has been chaos,
00:21:15there has been a riot,
00:21:17there has been a fight.
00:21:19No, no.
00:21:21Ten years of complete peace.
00:21:23And the way the flood of conquests
00:21:25was going in the time of Hazrat Umar,
00:21:27in the same way,
00:21:29during the ten years of Hazrat Uthman,
00:21:31there has been a disorder
00:21:33in the last two years.
00:21:35One is that
00:21:37out of the kingdoms,
00:21:39the kingdom of Heraclius,
00:21:41the kingdom of Rome,
00:21:43the kingdom of Iran.
00:21:45The two branches of the Roman Empire
00:21:47were broken by the Muslims.
00:21:49They removed it from North Africa
00:21:51and West Asia.
00:21:53But it was established in Europe.
00:21:55It had an empire.
00:21:57But the Iranian Empire
00:21:59was completely destroyed.
00:22:01In the same way,
00:22:03I have said that
00:22:05their first attack was
00:22:07during the caliphate of Hazrat Abu Bakr.
00:22:09Secondly,
00:22:11there was no conflict
00:22:13with the Christians
00:22:15during the life of the Prophet.
00:22:17But the Judaism as a religion,
00:22:19it is obvious that
00:22:21Islam had destroyed it
00:22:23at least from the Arabian Peninsula.
00:22:25There were three tribes in Medina
00:22:27who were removed
00:22:29due to their treachery
00:22:31by the Muslims.
00:22:33And thirdly,
00:22:35all the young people
00:22:37were killed.
00:22:39Then they attacked Khyber.
00:22:41And Khyber was conquered.
00:22:43It was a big city of the Jews.
00:22:45And those who were removed
00:22:47from Medina,
00:22:49they also stayed there.
00:22:51And then the Jews
00:22:53thought that
00:22:55we are the representative
00:22:57of the Ummah in the world
00:22:59and the Prophet was
00:23:01sent there.
00:23:03Therefore,
00:23:05most of the Jews
00:23:07who were killed
00:23:09by the Prophet
00:23:11were Jews.
00:23:13Therefore,
00:23:15their reaction
00:23:17was as a result of which
00:23:19Hazrat Uthman was martyred
00:23:21and Hazrat Ali was martyred
00:23:23and Hazrat Hussain was martyred.
00:23:25Now understand this well.
00:23:27And this is why some people
00:23:29think that this is just a story.
00:23:31Can one person do such a big thing?
00:23:33Abdullah Ibn Saba,
00:23:35a Jew who came to Medina
00:23:37under the caliphate of
00:23:39Hazrat Uthman.
00:23:41I will tell you about him later.
00:23:43But let me give you
00:23:45an example of what one person
00:23:47can do.
00:23:49One person killed
00:23:51the entire religion of
00:23:53Jesus Christ,
00:23:55converted Tawheed
00:23:57into Tasslees.
00:23:59Hazrat Jesus Christ
00:24:01had preached about Tawheed.
00:24:03Tawheed was over.
00:24:05Tasslees came.
00:24:07In which there were
00:24:09father, mother and son.
00:24:11After that, father, son and
00:24:13the Holy Spirit became Tasslees.
00:24:15Number two,
00:24:17the Shariah of Moses was
00:24:19abolished.
00:24:21Therefore,
00:24:23the Shariah of Moses was
00:24:25abolished.
00:24:27Number three,
00:24:29he expanded the area of
00:24:31preaching of Christianity
00:24:33among Gentiles and non-Jews.
00:24:35Although Jesus Christ had said
00:24:37that you only have to address
00:24:39the Jews.
00:24:41And I have only come in search
00:24:43of the lost sheep of the
00:24:45house of Israel.
00:24:47Now you see,
00:24:49immediately after Jesus Christ
00:24:51was born,
00:24:53he took off his robe
00:24:55and said that I have been
00:24:57revealed. I have met
00:24:59Jesus Christ. I have
00:25:01believed in him.
00:25:03And as a result of his
00:25:05fraud of Zohd and religion,
00:25:07he made his position.
00:25:09He completely destroyed
00:25:11the religion of Jesus Christ.
00:25:13Today, where is that religion of Jesus Christ?
00:25:15The author of The 100 has also
00:25:17clearly written that until
00:25:19then, the status of the Jews
00:25:21was not more than a sect.
00:25:23The Jews were a sect, a community.
00:25:25That's it. This is St. Paul
00:25:27who has made it a
00:25:29permanent religion.
00:25:31So it should be called Paulism.
00:25:33And this is the work of one man.
00:25:35In the same way,
00:25:37this happened immediately after
00:25:39Jesus Christ, immediately after
00:25:41Raphael Samawi.
00:25:43A movement has been going on in
00:25:45Europe after 1,500 years.
00:25:47And there was a Jewish mind
00:25:49behind it.
00:25:51The Jewish mind divided
00:25:53Christianity into two parts.
00:25:55Catholic and Protestants.
00:25:57And the Protestants
00:25:59were made their superiors.
00:26:01This is a separate subject on which
00:26:03I do not want to go into detail.
00:26:05My book is also on this topic.
00:26:07The past and present state of
00:26:09Muslim communities.
00:26:11I have described the details in it.
00:26:13The division that has taken place,
00:26:15First of all, there is one Jew.
00:26:17Like Allama Iqbal.
00:26:19Marx was also a Jew.
00:26:21There is a very beautiful
00:26:23couplet in Iblis' Majlis-e-Shura.
00:26:25That Jewish seducer,
00:26:27that spirit of seduction,
00:26:29is going to be
00:26:31crushed by all his sects.
00:26:35That one Jewish seducer,
00:26:37Marx, gave that
00:26:39concept to the world, which
00:26:41brought about a great revolution in Russia.
00:26:43The Bolshevik revolution,
00:26:45which then spread to the rest of the world.
00:26:47Fifty years ago,
00:26:49America was trembling
00:26:51in front of Russia.
00:26:53Because Russia was far ahead of America
00:26:55in terms of scientific progress.
00:26:57Its astronauts have gone into space
00:26:59earlier. America was far behind.
00:27:01Anyway, the way
00:27:03he has ended the USSR,
00:27:05that is a separate subject.
00:27:07I do not want to go into that right now.
00:27:09But know that that one person's
00:27:11name is Allama Iqbal.
00:27:13That Jewish seducer,
00:27:15that spirit of seduction,
00:27:17is going to be crushed by all his sects.
00:27:19Similarly, that Abdullah Ibn Saba,
00:27:21the Jewish seducer.
00:27:23Today, some people
00:27:25say that
00:27:27Abdullah Ibn Saba
00:27:29is a mythological figure.
00:27:31There was no reality to it.
00:27:33Although, in his own book,
00:27:35Rijal-e-Kashi,
00:27:37there is a mention of him.
00:27:39Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
00:27:41in his era of Khilafat,
00:27:43has made him burn alive.
00:27:45What is the reason for that?
00:27:47He came to Madinah,
00:27:49after converting to Islam,
00:27:51and started spreading a few beliefs.
00:27:53First of all,
00:27:55Hazrat Ali is God.
00:27:57God incarnate.
00:27:59Like in Hindus,
00:28:01Ram Chandraji is God incarnate.
00:28:03And in Christianity,
00:28:05God incarnate was a concept
00:28:07that Jesus Christ is God incarnate.
00:28:09Incarnation of God.
00:28:11So, he said that Hazrat Ali is God incarnate.
00:28:13He is God.
00:28:15Secondly, he said that
00:28:17every prophet has a will,
00:28:19for which he makes a will.
00:28:21So, the will of Prophet Muhammad
00:28:23is Hazrat Ali.
00:28:25That is why,
00:28:27Hazrat Ali is the first Khalifa.
00:28:29Hazrat Abu Bakr, Hazrat Umar,
00:28:31Hazrat Uthman.
00:28:33And Hazrat Uthman was Khilafat.
00:28:35Hazrat Uthman was Khilafat,
00:28:37especially at this time.
00:28:39Then, he instigated the tribal identity.
00:28:41The old identity that was going on
00:28:43in the Quraish,
00:28:45those two families were
00:28:47equal to each other.
00:28:49One is a tribe,
00:28:51one is a family.
00:28:53In our Punjab,
00:28:55there is a tribe called
00:28:57Wattu tribe.
00:28:59There are many families of
00:29:01Wattu tribe.
00:29:03There is a tribe,
00:29:05Wattu tribe.
00:29:07The Quraish tribe had many families.
00:29:09Banu Hashim, Banu Umayyah, Banu Teem,
00:29:11Banu Adi.
00:29:13So, the two families of Joti
00:29:15were Banu Hashim and Banu Umayyah.
00:29:17There was competition
00:29:19between them.
00:29:21And this competition was good.
00:29:23If they have fed the poor,
00:29:25we will feed them more.
00:29:27If they serve the rich,
00:29:29we will serve them more.
00:29:31So, the competition was good.
00:29:33But, when there was competition,
00:29:35we were afraid of losing.
00:29:37Anyway, this person
00:29:39rejuvenated the old identity
00:29:41that Huzoor was
00:29:43from Banu Hashim.
00:29:45So, Khilafat is the right of Banu Hashim.
00:29:47He is Ghasib.
00:29:49Before this, the two Caliphs
00:29:51were neither from Banu Hashim
00:29:53nor from Banu Umayyah.
00:29:55Hazrat Abu Bakr was from Banu Teem.
00:29:57It was a small tribe.
00:29:59Hazrat Abu Bakr was from Banu Adi.
00:30:01It was also a small tribe.
00:30:03Hazrat Usman was the first Caliph
00:30:05who was from Banu Umayyah.
00:30:07His old tribe was from Banu Hashim.
00:30:09Now, he got a chance
00:30:11to revive the old tribal identity.
00:30:13This is actually
00:30:15the background of that fitnah
00:30:17which was spread by Abdullah Ibn Saba.
00:30:19I cannot go into
00:30:21the details of it now.
00:30:23How did this fitnah spread?
00:30:25Did he adopt a strategy?
00:30:27What did he do?
00:30:29He formed groups and sent people.
00:30:31If you go to Kufa,
00:30:33you will find allegations
00:30:35against the governor of Damascus
00:30:37and against the governor of Egypt.
00:30:39He did this, he did that.
00:30:41He is treacherous.
00:30:43He is raising his relatives.
00:30:45You will also find allegations
00:30:47against Usman.
00:30:49If you go to Damascus,
00:30:51you will find allegations
00:30:53against the governor of Kufa.
00:30:55But if you go there,
00:30:57you will find allegations
00:30:59against the governor of Kufa,
00:31:01against the governor of Egypt
00:31:03and against Hazrat Usman.
00:31:05If you go to Egypt,
00:31:07you will find allegations
00:31:09against the governor of Kufa,
00:31:11against the governor of Syria
00:31:13and against Hazrat Usman.
00:31:15This is what he did.
00:31:17And you know that
00:31:19at that time,
00:31:21there were no resources
00:31:23and the Caliph
00:31:25Hazrat Ali
00:31:27was surrounded
00:31:29by these people
00:31:31who martyred Hazrat Usman.
00:31:33These people
00:31:35were the followers of Hazrat Ali.
00:31:37And Hazrat Ali
00:31:39did not want to
00:31:41take the oath of allegiance to the Caliphate.
00:31:43But what did he do?
00:31:45Did he leave the Ummah without the Caliph?
00:31:47Hazrat Zubair
00:31:49was told that he did not agree.
00:31:51Hazrat Talha was told that he did not agree.
00:31:53Hazrat Ali was told that he did not agree.
00:31:55He was one of the ten
00:31:57who took the oath of allegiance to the Caliphate.
00:31:59So he took the oath of allegiance
00:32:01and the Caliphate was established.
00:32:03But after that,
00:32:05as a result of this
00:32:07war,
00:32:09about one hundred thousand
00:32:11Muslims were killed
00:32:13by swords, spears,
00:32:15arrows and arrows.
00:32:17This is the most
00:32:19historical event.
00:32:21Five years.
00:32:23Four and a half years
00:32:25of Hazrat Ali's Caliphate
00:32:27and six months of Hazrat Hassan's Caliphate.
00:32:29May Allah be pleased with him.
00:32:31What happened with this?
00:32:33On the one hand, the expansion of Islam
00:32:35was taking place.
00:32:37No one could stop us.
00:32:39That flood stopped.
00:32:41There was an internal sabotage.
00:32:43Now we are inside each other.
00:32:45If we are close to each other,
00:32:47that sabotage stopped.
00:32:49And
00:32:51if a truck is running
00:32:53and it is loaded,
00:32:55and it is driving,
00:32:57if the motion breaks,
00:32:59the truck has to stop,
00:33:01then the driver's life is at stake.
00:33:03Because starting it again
00:33:05when it is on the incline
00:33:07is not an easy task.
00:33:09There is a risk that it will not go back.
00:33:11And in mountainous areas,
00:33:13you know that going back
00:33:15is not an easy task.
00:33:17Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
00:33:19did one thing in his Caliphate.
00:33:21Now, what were his issues?
00:33:23This will be in his knowledge.
00:33:25We can estimate
00:33:27and I do not want to go into the future.
00:33:29Until now,
00:33:31Madinah was the center of Caliphate.
00:33:33Hazrat Abu Bakr, Hazrat Umar,
00:33:35Hazrat Usman,
00:33:37where the Holy Prophet
00:33:39lived and where
00:33:41the Holy Prophet was buried.
00:33:43But Hazrat Ali made his center
00:33:45Kufa.
00:33:47One of the apparent reasons for this is
00:33:49that the spread of Islam
00:33:51was so widespread
00:33:53that Madinah was in the south
00:33:55and the big deserts
00:33:57had to be crossed.
00:33:59While Kufa was at a place
00:34:01from where the east was going
00:34:03to Iran, Iraq, Iran.
00:34:05In Iraq, the city is Kufa.
00:34:07And then Iran, Khurasan
00:34:09and India are on the way.
00:34:11And from there to the north,
00:34:13to Syria and Turkey.
00:34:15And from there,
00:34:17it was easy to control
00:34:19West Africa and North Africa.
00:34:21Anyway, Hazrat Ali made Kufa
00:34:23his center.
00:34:25And as a result,
00:34:27he became the center of the Saba'is as well.
00:34:29Because they kept
00:34:31themselves surrounded by
00:34:33Hazrat Ali.
00:34:35Now, obviously,
00:34:37there was no case against
00:34:39Hazrat Ali.
00:34:41In fact, when the Battle of Jammal
00:34:43was taking place,
00:34:45Hazrat Aisha, Hazrat Talha,
00:34:47and Hazrat Zubair had come
00:34:49with a request to punish
00:34:51the murderers of Hazrat Usman.
00:34:53Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
00:34:55was being interviewed.
00:34:57Hazrat Ali agreed
00:34:59that he will arrest
00:35:01the murderers of Hazrat Usman
00:35:03and punish them.
00:35:05Immediately,
00:35:07a group of 10,000 people
00:35:09stood up and said,
00:35:11we are all the murderers of Hazrat Usman.
00:35:13And what did they do?
00:35:15They started a war.
00:35:17And when they started a war,
00:35:19there was no other option.
00:35:21In one night,
00:35:2310,000 Muslims were martyred.
00:35:25Two of them were Hazrat Zubair
00:35:27and Hazrat Talha, may Allah be pleased with them.
00:35:29This was the situation
00:35:31that the Saba'is surrounded
00:35:33Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him.
00:35:35Hazrat Muawiyah was not
00:35:37a claimant of Khilafat.
00:35:39He only had one claim.
00:35:41And that was to
00:35:43arrest the murderers of Hazrat Usman
00:35:45or punish them or hand them over to us
00:35:47and we will take justice from them.
00:35:49Because the tribe belonged to Banu Bayyah
00:35:51and Hazrat Abu Muawiyah was from Banu Bayyah.
00:35:53So, as a family,
00:35:55we will take justice from
00:35:57those who killed Hazrat Usman.
00:35:59But here,
00:36:01Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
00:36:03was being asked to
00:36:05take his oath of allegiance
00:36:07and to strengthen his hand
00:36:09so that he could take action against them.
00:36:11But he was the only one who knew
00:36:13that if he took his oath of allegiance,
00:36:15they would behead him before
00:36:17he could reach Hazrat Ali.
00:36:19Because the Saba'is were surrounding him.
00:36:21Anyway, there was a strange confusion
00:36:23and a dilemma
00:36:25which led to this war.
00:36:27And Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
00:36:29was separated from
00:36:31his tribe,
00:36:33which we know as Khawarij.
00:36:35And an outsider, Ibn Buljum,
00:36:37also martyred Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him.
00:36:39Then,
00:36:41Hazrat Hassan, may Allah be pleased with him,
00:36:43Now,
00:36:45look at how true
00:36:47Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
00:36:49was when he was asked
00:36:51if he could take his oath of allegiance
00:36:53at the hands of his son, Hassan, may Allah be pleased with him.
00:36:55He said,
00:36:57I neither order you nor stop you.
00:36:59This is your matter.
00:37:01Amru'hum shuraa bayna'hum.
00:37:03Whatever you decide
00:37:05with your sister-in-law,
00:37:07I neither order you nor stop you.
00:37:09What does this mean?
00:37:11After the father, the son's caliphate is not haraam.
00:37:13Otherwise, how can it be?
00:37:15My son?
00:37:17No, he did not say this.
00:37:19Hazrat Umar was also asked
00:37:21to appoint his son, Abdullah Ibn Umar.
00:37:23What did he say in response?
00:37:25He does not even know how to divorce.
00:37:27He had divorced his wife
00:37:29and he did not adopt
00:37:31the most correct method.
00:37:33If he does not know how to divorce,
00:37:35I will appoint him as the caliph.
00:37:37He did not say that after the father,
00:37:39the son cannot be the caliph.
00:37:41He did not say this.
00:37:43It is not haraam.
00:37:45There is no hadith in the Holy Quran.
00:37:47Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
00:37:49said, I neither stop you nor order you.
00:37:51This is your matter.
00:37:53Hazrat Hassan, may Allah be pleased with him,
00:37:55reconciled with Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah.
00:37:57Khilafat was handed over to him.
00:37:59Look, I consider the caliphate of Hazrat Abu Bakr,
00:38:01Hazrat Umar, Hazrat Usman,
00:38:03Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Hassan
00:38:05to be the caliphate of Rashidah.
00:38:07And only then
00:38:0930 years are completed according to that hadith
00:38:11that the Prophet said that
00:38:13Khilafat will remain for 30 years
00:38:15and then monarchy will come.
00:38:17So, the great deed of Hazrat Hassan
00:38:19is that he closed the door
00:38:21of that house of war.
00:38:23And this was the prophecy
00:38:25of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
00:38:27to Hazrat Hassan.
00:38:29Before the death of the Prophet,
00:38:31my son will reconcile
00:38:33the two groups of Muslims.
00:38:35This was the prophecy of the Prophet.
00:38:37And that prophecy will also be in the knowledge
00:38:39of Hazrat Hassan.
00:38:41Anyway, he reconciled with Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah,
00:38:43may Allah be pleased with him.
00:38:45Khilafat was handed over to him.
00:38:47And some conditions were fulfilled.
00:38:49May Allah be pleased with him.
00:38:51But it was proved
00:38:53that my son will reconcile
00:38:55the two great groups of Muslims.
00:38:57And the people of Sabai
00:38:59taunted him,
00:39:01O you believers!
00:39:03O you believers!
00:39:05O you people of shame!
00:39:07You showed cowardice.
00:39:09You accepted Ameer Muawiyah as the caliph.
00:39:11You showed cowardice.
00:39:13May Allah be pleased with him.
00:39:15Now, I want to say
00:39:17a few words about Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah
00:39:19because
00:39:21I had
00:39:23a very strong opinion
00:39:25about Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah.
00:39:27And I am still
00:39:29firm on it.
00:39:31My direct opinion is that
00:39:33we do not consider
00:39:35the era of Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah
00:39:37to be part of the Khilafat.
00:39:39None of the Ahl-e-Sunnah
00:39:41believes this.
00:39:43But I had also mentioned
00:39:45some of the qualities of Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah
00:39:47and both of his qualities
00:39:49were highlighted.
00:39:51But that part
00:39:53of my statement was removed.
00:39:55I do not know what
00:39:57the issue was.
00:39:59It was not about anyone.
00:40:01It was not about anyone.
00:40:03I said that
00:40:05he was not the rightful caliph.
00:40:07I said it clearly.
00:40:09In fact,
00:40:11he started the era of monarchy.
00:40:13In fact, when a person said
00:40:15that the era of monarchy
00:40:17was coming after Karbala,
00:40:19I said no.
00:40:21The era of monarchy
00:40:23had started 20 years ago.
00:40:25Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah's 20 years
00:40:27were counted as the era of monarchy.
00:40:29He was also called the Kisra of the Arabs.
00:40:31The Kisra of the Arabs
00:40:33was the title of
00:40:35Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah.
00:40:37He was called the Kisra of the Arabs.
00:40:39But on the other hand,
00:40:41he was a companion of the Prophet.
00:40:43May Allah be pleased with him.
00:40:45He was a relative of the Prophet.
00:40:47He was a brother-in-law of the Prophet.
00:40:49His sister-in-law,
00:40:51Umm-e-Habibah,
00:40:53was the wife of the Prophet.
00:40:55Umm-e-Habibah, may Allah be pleased with her.
00:40:57They were so loyal to the Prophet
00:40:59that they were included
00:41:01among the writers of Wahi.
00:41:03There were a few people
00:41:05who wrote Wahi.
00:41:07Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah was
00:41:09one of them.
00:41:11As far as the companions are concerned,
00:41:13the Ahl-e-Sunnah
00:41:15believe that
00:41:17all the companions
00:41:19had good intentions.
00:41:21Their traditions
00:41:23will be accepted
00:41:25and not rejected.
00:41:27They will not be harmed.
00:41:29Because their purification
00:41:31was done by Muhammad Rasool Allah.
00:41:33Therefore, it is possible
00:41:35that a companion made a mistake.
00:41:37But that mistake was intentional.
00:41:39It was not intentional.
00:41:41If you attack
00:41:43the intention of a companion,
00:41:45then you are attacking
00:41:47the Prophet.
00:41:49Because he could not
00:41:51teach his companions.
00:41:53He could not purify them.
00:41:55In three places in the Qur'an,
00:41:57it says,
00:41:59So what did he purify?
00:42:01If his closest companions
00:42:03had bad intentions
00:42:05and wanted the world
00:42:07to be a better place,
00:42:09then what did he purify?
00:42:11So, all the companions
00:42:13are rejecters.
00:42:15And it is possible
00:42:17that there is a disagreement with them.
00:42:19But you cannot attack their intentions.
00:42:21So, the personality of
00:42:23Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah is one thing.
00:42:25His era of Khilafat is another thing.
00:42:27As far as personality is concerned,
00:42:29he is a companion of the Prophet.
00:42:31He is a relative of the Prophet.
00:42:33And then,
00:42:35he is so reliable
00:42:37among the companions that
00:42:39he was not a common man
00:42:41to write the revelation of Allah.
00:42:43However,
00:42:45as I said,
00:42:47his era of Khilafat
00:42:49is not the right one.
00:42:51It is the era of monarchy.
00:42:53When a companion said that monarchy
00:42:55was starting, I said it was not starting.
00:42:57Monarchy had started 20 years ago.
00:42:59Similarly, a companion said
00:43:01that Hazrat Hussain came to the battlefield
00:43:03and I said it was not wrong.
00:43:05Islam had been established
00:43:0760 years ago.
00:43:09Islam was established
00:43:11with the blessed hand of the Prophet.
00:43:13Arabic
00:43:15Arabic
00:43:17Then, it was established
00:43:19completely for 30 years.
00:43:21So, Islam
00:43:23was not something to be established.
00:43:25However,
00:43:27there was a decline in it.
00:43:29To stop that decline,
00:43:31Hazrat Hussain came to the battlefield.
00:43:33So,
00:43:35we have to keep it in the right historical perspective.
00:43:37So, it was not established
00:43:39to establish Islam.
00:43:41It was established by Muhammad
00:43:43and his companions.
00:43:45However,
00:43:47now it had started to fall
00:43:49from its glorious status.
00:43:51I will tell you later
00:43:53what I told him.
00:43:55To stop that decline,
00:43:57in some way,
00:43:59to establish Islam
00:44:01was the effort of Hazrat Hussain.
00:44:05Now,
00:44:07the 20 years of Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah
00:44:09were full of peace,
00:44:11tranquility,
00:44:13no quarrel,
00:44:15no disorder,
00:44:17nothing.
00:44:1920 years.
00:44:21This is also a historical fact
00:44:23which is not known to people.
00:44:25The government of Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah
00:44:27was so strong,
00:44:29controlled,
00:44:31that they did not get a chance
00:44:33to raise their heads.
00:44:35They were present,
00:44:37but they were suppressed.
00:44:39As I said,
00:44:41at the last phase of the revolution,
00:44:43the opponents were suppressed.
00:44:45They said,
00:44:47we will see,
00:44:49we will get a chance,
00:44:51then we will deal with them.
00:44:5320 years were full of peace.
00:44:55One of the Companions,
00:44:57Mughirah Ibn Shuba,
00:44:59said,
00:45:01look,
00:45:03Ameer-ul-Mumineen,
00:45:05there was such a big civil war
00:45:07between Muslims.
00:45:09And even now,
00:45:11if you nominate someone
00:45:13without leaving the Ummah,
00:45:15then there will be a civil war again.
00:45:17100,000 were destroyed at that time.
00:45:19I don't know how many are destroyed now.
00:45:21Therefore, nominate someone
00:45:23without leaving the Ummah.
00:45:25Make a promise.
00:45:27Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah
00:45:29did not deny initially.
00:45:31But his arguments
00:45:33were such,
00:45:35and I think that
00:45:37what Mughirah Ibn Shuba said was right.
00:45:39Because now,
00:45:41the great Companions
00:45:43had left the world.
00:45:45Now,
00:45:47only the young Companions
00:45:49were left,
00:45:51Ibn Zubayr,
00:45:53Abdullah Ibn Zubayr.
00:45:55And the Companions were
00:45:57completely non-Muslims.
00:45:59And the majority of non-Muslims
00:46:01were of Iranians,
00:46:03Shamis,
00:46:05and others.
00:46:07It is obvious that
00:46:09most of them did not get
00:46:11any share from the
00:46:13Tarbiyyat-e-Nabawi or
00:46:15Khilafat-e-Rashida.
00:46:17In this case,
00:46:19the government will not be
00:46:21stable.
00:46:23This is like
00:46:25an idealism
00:46:27and a realism.
00:46:29It is an idealism
00:46:31and a realism
00:46:33that you should think
00:46:35facts on the ground
00:46:37and then make a decision.
00:46:39From this perspective,
00:46:41Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah
00:46:43accepted and took
00:46:45the oath of allegiance
00:46:47to Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah.
00:46:49At that time,
00:46:51there were five people
00:46:53who disagreed with him.
00:46:55This is very important.
00:46:57My book is Saneh-e-Karbala.
00:46:59You can read it
00:47:01and spread it
00:47:03so that the truth is revealed.
00:47:05Who were the five people
00:47:07who should have been there?
00:47:09Abu Bakr passed away.
00:47:11His son, Abdur Rahman Ibn Abu Bakr
00:47:13Umar passed away.
00:47:15His son, Abdullah Ibn Umar
00:47:17Abbas passed away.
00:47:19His son, Abdullah Ibn Abbas
00:47:21Zubair passed away.
00:47:23His son, Abdullah Ibn Zubair
00:47:25Hazrat Hassan
00:47:27passed away.
00:47:29Hazrat Ali's son,
00:47:31Hazrat Hussain
00:47:33About Hazrat Hassan,
00:47:35a group of people say
00:47:37that he was poisoned and
00:47:39killed.
00:47:41However, the people of Sunnah
00:47:43say that he died
00:47:45naturally.
00:47:47I don't want to go into this.
00:47:49This is a micro-history.
00:47:51For each incident,
00:47:53what are the traditions
00:47:55and what evidence do they have?
00:47:57This is the subject of a research scholar
00:47:59and not my subject.
00:48:01These are the five people
00:48:03who did not take the oath of allegiance
00:48:05to the Wali-e-Ahdi.
00:48:07However, Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah
00:48:09was such a humble person
00:48:11that he did not take the oath of allegiance
00:48:13to the Wali-e-Ahdi.
00:48:15He took the oath of allegiance to me.
00:48:17I am still alive.
00:48:19He did not break my oath.
00:48:21He did not break the oath of allegiance.
00:48:23From this perspective,
00:48:25he did not force anyone.
00:48:27However, when
00:48:29Ameer Muawiyah passed away,
00:48:31instead of taking the oath of allegiance
00:48:33to the Wali-e-Ahdi, he took the oath of allegiance
00:48:35to Khilafat.
00:48:37All the people took the oath of allegiance.
00:48:39One of the five people had passed away.
00:48:41Hazrat Abdul Rehman Ibn Abi Bakr
00:48:43had passed away.
00:48:45There were four people.
00:48:47There was a disagreement
00:48:49among these four people.
00:48:51The opinion of two people was
00:48:53Abdullah Ibn Umar and Abdullah Ibn Abbas.
00:48:55Although this was wrong,
00:48:57it was against the spirit of Islam,
00:49:01and it was based on monarchy.
00:49:03However,
00:49:05this is not the case
00:49:07because they wanted to start a civil war
00:49:09within the Ummah.
00:49:11They wanted to cause bloodshed.
00:49:13Therefore, they took the oath of allegiance.
00:49:17Now, if someone says,
00:49:19God forbid, that they were sold
00:49:21to Yazid, God forbid.
00:49:23You can disagree
00:49:25that they should not have done it.
00:49:27I do not disagree.
00:49:29But if we attack their intentions,
00:49:31we will attack Muhammad Rasool Allah.
00:49:33Who is Abdullah Ibn Umar?
00:49:35How many hadiths are
00:49:37quoted from him?
00:49:39Who is Abdullah Ibn Abbas?
00:49:41Who did the Prophet pray for?
00:49:43O Allah!
00:49:45O Allah!
00:49:47O Allah!
00:49:49O Allah!
00:49:51O Allah!
00:49:53O Allah!
00:49:55O Allah!
00:49:57O Allah!
00:49:59O Allah!
00:50:01O Allah!
00:50:03Two gentlemen
00:50:05were adamant that
00:50:07they wanted to resist.
00:50:09Abdullah Ibn Zubair
00:50:11is older than Umar.
00:50:13The first Muslim
00:50:15who was born in Madinah was
00:50:17Abdullah Ibn Zubair.
00:50:19When the Muhajireen migrated to Madinah,
00:50:21no one had children.
00:50:23People started taunting
00:50:25that the people of Mecca
00:50:27have become weak
00:50:29and have no children.
00:50:31Abdullah Ibn Zubair
00:50:33is the grandson of Hazrat Abu Bakr.
00:50:35His wife
00:50:37is the sister of Hazrat Aisha.
00:50:45Hazrat Asma
00:50:47is the daughter of
00:50:49Hazrat Zubair.
00:50:51They decided
00:50:53to resist
00:50:55at any cost.
00:50:57Hazrat Hussain Ibn Ali
00:50:59decided to resist
00:51:01at any cost.
00:51:03However, there is a difference
00:51:05between the two.
00:51:09Abdullah Ibn Zubair said
00:51:11that we should stay in Hijaz.
00:51:13This is the land where
00:51:15the blessings of Prophethood are the greatest.
00:51:17Here we are in a strong fort.
00:51:19We should resist
00:51:21from here.
00:51:25Hazrat Hussain Ibn Ali
00:51:27had letters
00:51:29in his hand.
00:51:31People were writing letters from Kufa.
00:51:33Come, we will
00:51:35pledge allegiance to you.
00:51:37This is the same Kufa
00:51:39which was the house of Khilafat
00:51:41of Hazrat Ali.
00:51:45Hazrat Hussain
00:51:47sent Hazrat
00:51:49Muslim Ibn Aqeel
00:51:51to pledge allegiance
00:51:53as my representative.
00:51:55All of them pledged allegiance.
00:51:57After that, Yazid
00:51:59appointed Ibn Ziyad as the governor.
00:52:01When Ibn Ziyad
00:52:03became strict
00:52:05he broke all the pledges
00:52:07and all of them were destroyed.
00:52:09He was not sincere.
00:52:11Al Kufi la yufi.
00:52:13Kufi is not
00:52:15a person who promises loyalty.
00:52:17He broke the pledge.
00:52:19Faman naqasa fa innama
00:52:21yankusu ala nafsi.
00:52:23This is a big sin.
00:52:25He broke the pledge.
00:52:27Hazrat Hussain was informed
00:52:29when he was on his way
00:52:31that Muslim Ibn Aqeel was martyred
00:52:33and all of them broke the pledge.
00:52:35He wanted to go back
00:52:37but Muslim Ibn Aqeel's son
00:52:39refused.
00:52:41This is an old
00:52:43tradition of Arabs
00:52:45that we will not go back
00:52:47without taking the revenge
00:52:49of our father's blood.
00:52:51Hazrat Hussain
00:52:53came to support me
00:52:55but if I don't
00:52:57support him
00:52:59then he is against
00:53:01decency.
00:53:03Hazrat Hussain
00:53:05went to his
00:53:07own land
00:53:09and presented
00:53:11three things
00:53:13against the Kufi army.
00:53:15The biggest army
00:53:17was the Kufi army
00:53:19Let me
00:53:21go back to Hijaz
00:53:25or
00:53:27send me
00:53:29to the borders
00:53:31so that I can fight the disbelievers
00:53:33or let me go to Yazid
00:53:35so that I can settle my matter with him.
00:53:37But the Kufis
00:53:39could not tolerate this.
00:53:41If they reach Yazid
00:53:43then they will
00:53:45expose us.
00:53:47The Kufis
00:53:49called me
00:53:51because
00:53:53I have told you
00:53:55that during the 20 years of
00:53:57Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah's rule
00:53:59his government was so stable
00:54:01that it was impossible
00:54:03to cause any trouble
00:54:05against him.
00:54:07Now because
00:54:09there was a change over
00:54:11and you know
00:54:13that everything is in the
00:54:15hands of Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah
00:54:17and his army
00:54:19came to
00:54:21pledge allegiance to him.
00:54:23But they did not agree.
00:54:25And the real killers of
00:54:27Hazrat Hussain
00:54:29were the Kufis
00:54:31the hypocrites
00:54:33who broke the oath.
00:54:35And now
00:54:37they have come
00:54:39that if Hussain
00:54:41reaches Yazid
00:54:43they will expose us
00:54:45and we will be ashamed.
00:54:47That is why they killed
00:54:49Hazrat Hussain.
00:54:51One thing
00:54:53that Lama Dr. Kalb-e-Sadiq
00:54:55said
00:54:57and I did not know this
00:54:59before
00:55:01was that a great
00:55:03Mufti gave the fatwa
00:55:05to kill Hazrat Hussain.
00:55:07Please understand this.
00:55:09A great Mufti gave the fatwa
00:55:11to kill Hazrat Hussain.
00:55:13Why did he do this?
00:55:15Because
00:55:17there are hadiths of Huzoor
00:55:19that when one person
00:55:21is appointed as a Khalifa
00:55:23and the other is standing
00:55:25then he should be killed.
00:55:27These are open hadiths.
00:55:29That is why
00:55:31there is a great Mufassir
00:55:33and a jurist
00:55:35Ibn-ul-Arabi
00:55:37There is an Ibn-e-Arabi
00:55:39Ibn-e-Arabi
00:55:41He is a great Sufi and philosopher.
00:55:43He is from Andalusia.
00:55:45He is Qazi Ibn-ul-Arabi
00:55:47who has written a tafseer of the Quran
00:55:49that only those ayahs
00:55:51whose jurisprudence
00:55:53are interpreted.
00:55:55These two tafseers
00:55:57have been written in this way.
00:55:59Both are called Ahkam-ul-Quran.
00:56:01One of them is of Qazi Ibn-ul-Arabi.
00:56:03There is a sentence of his.
00:56:05They killed Hazrat Hussain
00:56:07Hazrat Hussain was killed
00:56:09by his own grandfather's sword.
00:56:13What was that sword?
00:56:15When someone has been appointed
00:56:17and then someone is standing
00:56:19as a Khilafah, he should be killed.
00:56:21In my opinion, Hazrat Hussain
00:56:23was not a Khilafah.
00:56:25This did not come to the people at that time.
00:56:27In fact, the government
00:56:29made them believe that he is a rebel
00:56:31and he is a Khilafah.
00:56:33They did not even claim to be Khilafah.
00:56:35They came to the battlefield
00:56:37only to stop that action.
00:56:39And understand this well
00:56:41that till that time,
00:56:43the concept that we have today
00:56:45that the state is separate and the government is separate.
00:56:47State of Pakistan.
00:56:49We are loyal to the state of Pakistan.
00:56:51We are loyal to the state of Pakistan.
00:56:53The government of Pakistan
00:56:55is not loyal.
00:56:57We are not loyal to the government.
00:56:59The government was once of
00:57:01Mehd Azir. We were against him.
00:57:03We were against him.
00:57:05We were against him.
00:57:07We were against him.
00:57:09It is the right of the people
00:57:11to change the government.
00:57:13At that time, there was no difference
00:57:15between the state and the government.
00:57:17Therefore, whoever opposes the government
00:57:19is a rebel.
00:57:21This is the complicated issue
00:57:23that why did a Mufti
00:57:25give the fatwa?
00:57:27Because till that time,
00:57:29the difference between the state and the government
00:57:31was not there.
00:57:33This is a matter of 100-150 years.
00:57:35The evolution of political science
00:57:37has reached the stage
00:57:39that the state is separate
00:57:41and the government is separate.
00:57:43The government is one of the three organs
00:57:45of the state.
00:57:47Administration is of the government.
00:57:49Judiciary and legislature
00:57:51are one of the three organs.
00:57:53So, it is the right of the people
00:57:55to change the government.
00:57:57Whether it is through vote or agitation.
00:57:59It is the right of the people
00:58:01to change the government.
00:58:03At that time, this was not the case.
00:58:05Therefore, the situation became
00:58:07that the government of the time
00:58:09made the Muslims rebel.
00:58:11Otherwise, it was not easy to kill
00:58:13the grandson of the Prophet.
00:58:15After all, were all the Kalima's
00:58:17the same or not?
00:58:19The Kalima's were the same.
00:58:21And the love for the Prophet was less.
00:58:23But the fatwa,
00:58:25if a great Mufti,
00:58:27Hazrat Abu Saqid Sadiq said,
00:58:29I do not even know the name of that Mufti.
00:58:31It was the fatwa of a Mufti.
00:58:33Now, these people killed
00:58:35Hazrat Hussain.
00:58:37And this is the reason
00:58:39that they set the tents on fire.
00:58:41Wow!
00:58:43However, if there was a revenge
00:58:45for the enmity,
00:58:47then Hazrat Ali bin Hussain,
00:58:49who was sick, later named
00:58:51Zain-ul-Abideen,
00:58:53he is the fourth Imam of the Tashayyih.
00:58:55Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Hassan,
00:58:57Hazrat Hussain and then
00:58:59Hazrat Ali bin Hussain Zain-ul-Abideen.
00:59:01May Allah have mercy on him.
00:59:03Would they have been killed too?
00:59:05Would the lineage of Hazrat Hussain
00:59:07have been destroyed?
00:59:09But they did not.
00:59:11Why did they set the fire?
00:59:13Because the documentary proof
00:59:15of our treachery against Yazid,
00:59:17the invitation we gave to Hazrat Hussain,
00:59:19that documentary proof
00:59:21is present in the form of letters,
00:59:23they set the tents on fire
00:59:25for this.
00:59:27Anyway, this is the historical background.
00:59:29This is the continuation
00:59:31of the civil strife
00:59:33which first took the life
00:59:35of Hazrat Usman, may Allah be pleased with him.
00:59:37For five years,
00:59:39the Muslims were at war.
00:59:41Hazrat Ali was martyred.
00:59:43And after that,
00:59:45for twenty years,
00:59:47they could not raise the head of
00:59:49Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah.
00:59:51So at that time, they thought
00:59:53this was a rare opportunity
00:59:55to raise their heads
00:59:57and create another civil strife
00:59:59within the Ummah.
01:00:01In this regard,
01:00:03there is one thing
01:00:05that I said there,
01:00:07that the poetic exaggeration
01:00:09that we have,
01:00:11this is a part of my speech
01:00:13and I have deleted it.
01:00:15And I have a Sunni poet,
01:00:17a great scholar,
01:00:19in Khaliq Dina Hall,
01:00:21a poet by the name of Muhammad Ali Johar.
01:00:23He said,
01:00:25The killing of Hussain is actually
01:00:27the death of Yazid.
01:00:29Islam is alive after Karbala.
01:00:31I said, this is a very humble poem.
01:00:33Islam was not dead.
01:00:35What is the question of being alive?
01:00:37And if it was injured or wounded
01:00:39to some extent,
01:00:41then it remained.
01:00:43It remained after Karbala.
01:00:45Yazid's government remained.
01:00:47What is he saying?
01:00:49Islam is alive after Karbala.
01:00:51I said, Islam was not dead.
01:00:53Like I said,
01:00:55monarchy has not started yet.
01:00:57Monarchy started 20 years ago
01:00:59with Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah.
01:01:01But it is obvious that
01:01:03Hazrat Hassan and Hazrat Hussain accepted it.
01:01:05And for 10 years,
01:01:07Hazrat Hussain,
01:01:09even though he did not pledge allegiance,
01:01:11he did not challenge it.
01:01:13In this regard,
01:01:15this matter that Islam is alive
01:01:17after Karbala,
01:01:19this is absurd.
01:01:21Yes, if I put forward
01:01:23the allegory of Shah Ismail Shaheed,
01:01:25then the building of Islam
01:01:27has six floors.
01:01:29The sixth floor of the top has fallen.
01:01:31The five floors were intact.
01:01:33Islam was not dead.
01:01:35In the court,
01:01:37decisions were being made according to the Shariah.
01:01:39The judge was a Mufti.
01:01:41The Shariah was in effect.
01:01:43Allama Qalb-e-Sadiq himself said
01:01:45that Hazrat Hussain was killed by a Mufti's fatwa.
01:01:47Now the Mufti's opinion,
01:01:49his ill-intentions,
01:01:51Allah knows.
01:01:53But what should the common Muslims do?
01:01:55In this regard, Islam was not dead.
01:01:57Yes, one floor had fallen.
01:01:59It was falling for a thousand years.
01:02:01To the extent that
01:02:03Western imperialism brought it down.
01:02:05Ended the issue of monarchy.
01:02:07And the monarchy came forcibly.
01:02:09Otherwise, the same Shabad Shaheed
01:02:11would not have been born.
01:02:13In fact, in the era of Banu Umayyah,
01:02:15he did not take out the monarchy
01:02:17completely on his head.
01:02:19He took out the real monarchy
01:02:21in the era of Banu Abbas.
01:02:23And then the Sultans,
01:02:25the Turkish caliphs,
01:02:27they also had a monarchy.
01:02:29What else was there?
01:02:31It was not a caliphate.
01:02:33So, whatever defect
01:02:35that had occurred in Islam,
01:02:37when did it occur?
01:02:39I am thankful to both of you.
01:02:41Both of you,
01:02:43the Shia intellectuals
01:02:45and the great Shia scholars
01:02:47have accepted this
01:02:49and have not challenged me.
01:02:57Actually, the third thing
01:02:59I said is that
01:03:01after the martyrdom of
01:03:03Hazrat Hussain,
01:03:05after that,
01:03:07the incident of Harra
01:03:09which is more horrific
01:03:11than the incident of Karbala.
01:03:13It is the history of Banu Umayyah
01:03:15which people do not know.
01:03:17Some people of Madinah
01:03:19rebelled and sent an army
01:03:21against him.
01:03:23And when the army conquered Madinah,
01:03:25they made it halal for three days.
01:03:27Do whatever you want here.
01:03:29Kill whoever you want,
01:03:31loot whoever you want,
01:03:33kill whoever you want.
01:03:35And this has happened
01:03:37in Madinah.
01:03:39So, there were many incidents
01:03:41in the kingdom of Madinah.
01:03:43Abdullah ibn Zubair
01:03:45stood up and established a government.
01:03:47But he was successful
01:03:49for six years.
01:03:51He established a government
01:03:53and did not give it to Banu Umayyah.
01:03:55Finally, his government also ended.
01:03:57Then Hazrat Zaid stood up
01:03:59and he rebelled.
01:04:01Then Hazrat Nafs Zakiyah
01:04:03stood up in Banu Abbas.
01:04:05He was the son of Hazrat Hassan.
01:04:07He also failed and was martyred.
01:04:09Then it was understood that
01:04:11this is the sixth level
01:04:13and it cannot be established again.
01:04:15The one who has the strength
01:04:17will rule.
01:04:19The one whose tribe
01:04:21will be stronger,
01:04:23the one whose tribe
01:04:25will be stronger,
01:04:27will rule.
01:04:29The Sufis
01:04:31took that responsibility.
01:04:33And it is the same work
01:04:35that the Imams of Ahlul Bayt
01:04:37did.
01:04:39Hazrat Hassan's children,
01:04:41Hazrat Ali bin Hussain,
01:04:43may Allah be pleased with him,
01:04:45Hazrat Hussain's children,
01:04:47Imam Muhammad Baqir,
01:04:49Imam Muhammad Jafar Sadiq,
01:04:51and five others.
01:04:53No one rebelled.
01:04:55The way the scholars were working,
01:04:57and the way the Sufis
01:04:59were working,
01:05:01the same way the Muslims were
01:05:03being educated.
01:05:05No one challenged the government.
01:05:09Note this.
01:05:11Hazrat Ali didn't challenge either.
01:05:13Hazrat Hassan didn't challenge either.
01:05:15He reconciled himself.
01:05:17So the 12 Imams
01:05:19of Ahlul Bayt,
01:05:21the last one,
01:05:23Hazrat Mahdi,
01:05:25according to their belief,
01:05:27he is the soul of the body,
01:05:29will be revealed.
01:05:31But about the 11 Imams,
01:05:33no one other than Hazrat Hussain
01:05:35challenged the system of government.
01:05:37And Hazrat Hussain also
01:05:39said that the Sufis will support.
01:05:41And this is the time
01:05:43that the sixth level of Islam
01:05:45will be re-established.
01:05:47They didn't claim Khilafat.
01:05:49They were told
01:05:51by the people
01:05:53that Khilafat will be re-established.
01:05:55As I told you,
01:05:57Mir Muawiyah never claimed Khilafat
01:05:59in the time of Hazrat Ali.
01:06:01He was not a claimant of Khilafat.
01:06:03He said that the killers of
01:06:05Hussain should be punished.
01:06:07That's it.
01:06:09In the same way,
01:06:11Hazrat Hussain also...
01:06:13Now see,
01:06:15there is no doubt in this matter.
01:06:17The martyrdom
01:06:19of Hazrat Hussain
01:06:21and the martyrdom
01:06:23of his companions,
01:06:27in the history of mankind,
01:06:29this determination,
01:06:31courage,
01:06:33patience,
01:06:35perseverance,
01:06:37this is a very clear example.
01:06:39It is a very clear example.
01:06:41But this
01:06:43did not have any effect
01:06:45on the course of history.
01:06:47The kingdom that came,
01:06:49it got deeper and deeper.
01:06:51After the incident of Karbala,
01:06:53I counted every incident.
01:06:55More than that,
01:06:57there is no other incident
01:06:59worthy of shame for us.
01:07:01From this aspect,
01:07:03but,
01:07:05Hazrat Hussain's...
01:07:07Now,
01:07:09if I pledge allegiance to him,
01:07:11who was present at that time,
01:07:13that I pledge allegiance to Yazid,
01:07:15then he would have surrendered himself.
01:07:17The same threat was
01:07:19to Ameer Muawiyah that
01:07:21he would not let me reach Ali
01:07:23and he would have me martyred first.
01:07:25The same threat was to Hussain
01:07:27that he would not let me reach Yazid
01:07:29and he would have me killed first.
01:07:31And besides,
01:07:33this was also a demand of
01:07:35decency, humility,
01:07:37respect, and self-respect.
01:07:39That this is the matter of Yazid,
01:07:41let me go there.
01:07:43You can escort me,
01:07:45you can send me there,
01:07:47I will deal with him there.
01:07:49But they killed him.
01:07:51The real killers are the Kufis,
01:07:53the same people.
01:07:55However,
01:07:57there is no doubt
01:07:59in the memory of this incident
01:08:01that it created
01:08:03a lot of sacrifice
01:08:05and martyrdom
01:08:07in the hearts of a group of Muslims.
01:08:09There is no doubt about it.
01:08:11And the way that
01:08:13the Holy Qur'an is recited
01:08:15in Muharram,
01:08:17it created
01:08:19a lot of sacrifice
01:08:21in the hearts of the Muslims.
01:08:23However,
01:08:25that spirit does not disappear
01:08:27because they have a belief
01:08:29that until Hazrat Mahdi
01:08:31is not revealed,
01:08:33we will not rebel against anyone.
01:08:35This has been their whole history.
01:08:37This has been the case
01:08:39of all the Imams of Ahlul Bayt.
01:08:42Keep sitting
01:08:44and keep waiting.
01:08:45Wait and see. That's all.
01:09:11They will be attacked.
01:09:13This is the greatness
01:09:15of Ayatullah Khomeini.
01:09:17He convinced the people
01:09:19of Iran
01:09:21that we will not
01:09:23remain inert.
01:09:25We will appoint him as Naib-e-Imam.
01:09:27And according to the philosophy of
01:09:29Wilayat-e-Faqih,
01:09:31which is not my topic right now,
01:09:33he told the people
01:09:35that between 20,000
01:09:37and 30,000 people
01:09:39will be killed.
01:09:41Women will be raped.
01:09:43A baby will be born
01:09:45and will be shot.
01:09:47Life is so precious.
01:09:49A mother's life
01:09:51will be so precious
01:09:53for her baby.
01:09:55If not for herself,
01:09:57she will live for her baby.
01:09:59But no.
01:10:01They will be shot.
01:10:03The reality is that
01:10:05Ahl-e-Sunnah
01:10:07I am saying this in the words of the king.
01:10:09In the whole world of Islam,
01:10:11only Shia Iran
01:10:13has come out to be the one
01:10:15to end the rule.
01:10:17In the rest of Saudi Arabia,
01:10:19the rule is still there.
01:10:21Every palace of those kings
01:10:23is worth billions of dollars.
01:10:25And Sunnis are Sunnis.
01:10:27Sunnis.
01:10:29They don't do anything.
01:10:31What is happening now
01:10:33is anti-American.
01:10:35What is happening is anti-American.
01:10:37In reality,
01:10:39this is a completely different issue.
01:10:41But in the whole world of Islam,
01:10:43nothing has changed.
01:10:45This is an exceptional thing
01:10:47in the Ahl-e-Tashayyih.
01:10:49A king who was said
01:10:51to have the largest
01:10:53armory in Asia.
01:10:55He wanted to revive
01:10:57the 2,500-year-old
01:10:59greatness of Iran.
01:11:01He built it 2,500 years ago.
01:11:03He built a city for it.
01:11:05Caixusro.
01:11:07Or Cyrus.
01:11:09Or Zulqarnain.
01:11:11He made it memorable.
01:11:13He was thinking that
01:11:15it would be the same greatness
01:11:17of Iran as it was in Caixusro.
01:11:19It is mentioned in Surah Al-Kahf.
01:11:21East conquests,
01:11:23West conquests,
01:11:25North conquests.
01:11:27He had to run away
01:11:29because of sacrifice.
01:11:31So this has to be mentioned in a way
01:11:33that everyone should take notice.
01:11:37As Iqbal had said a verse
01:11:39for Ghalib,
01:11:47It is clear from the sacrifice
01:11:49of Hazrat Husain
01:11:51that man can go to an extend
01:11:53to make sacrifice
01:11:55for a purpose.
01:11:57Their purpose
01:11:59I am saying one last thing, note it down.
01:12:04Because of a particular extreme point of view being used,
01:12:09there has been an extreme reaction among the Sunnis.
01:12:12Extreme rightist Sunnis.
01:12:16If an attack has been made from one side,
01:12:20on the intention of Hazrat Usman,
01:12:22they have been accused of treachery,
01:12:24they have been accused of treachery,
01:12:26they have been accused of treachery,
01:12:28they have been accused of treachery,
01:12:30if all of this has happened on the Companions,
01:12:33on Ameer Muawiyah and Amr Ibn Al-Aas,
01:12:37then some people have stood up in response.
01:12:39Hazrat Ali, he was a student of Iqtidaar.
01:12:41Maazallah, summa maazallah, summa maazallah.
01:12:45This is not the position of the Ahl-e-Sunnah.
01:12:49Hazrat Hussain was a student of Iqtidaar.
01:12:51Not at all, not at all, not at all.
01:12:54The same principle that I told you,
01:12:56will apply to everyone.
01:12:57If it is for Ameer Muawiyah,
01:12:58then it is for Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Hussain as well.
01:13:01This is a good intention.
01:13:03You can disagree with their opinion,
01:13:06but you will not attack their intention.
01:13:08If you attack their intention,
01:13:09your faith in the Prophethood will be destroyed.
01:13:13These are the Companions of the Prophet.
01:13:15The Prophet purified them.
01:13:16He recited to them His verses and purified them.
01:13:19All of this was done by Muhammad, peace be upon him.
01:13:22So, in the case of the Companions,
01:13:24the Ahl-e-Sunnah,
01:13:26who are of moderate nature,
01:13:28and the majority of them,
01:13:29these are just a few people.
01:13:30If you look at their books,
01:13:32they have published a lot of small books as well.
01:13:35But the Ahl-e-Sunnah declared them
01:13:37to be Nasibi or Khariji.
01:13:42Like Khawarij said that Hazrat Ali is also a Kafir.
01:13:45And Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah is also a Kafir.
01:13:47And Amr al-Bid'ah is also a Kafir.
01:13:48Maazallah, summa maazallah.
01:13:50Some people also accuse Hazrat Hussain
01:13:52that he travelled all this
01:13:54with the desire and longing for power.
01:13:56And that's it.
01:13:58He lost the game.
01:14:00Allah Allah, Khalsa Allah.
01:14:01What is the matter beyond this?
01:14:03Maazallah, summa maazallah.
01:14:05That is why the verse I read today,
01:14:07which you must have come to know
01:14:09is not related to my today's topic.
01:14:12This is from the last verse of Surah Al-Qasas.
01:14:21Look, we will make the place of the Hereafter
01:14:24special for those people
01:14:26who do not have the knowledge of their power in this world.
01:14:30If they have the knowledge of their power in this world,
01:14:34there will be disorder.
01:14:35If you have the knowledge,
01:14:36I have the knowledge,
01:14:37there will be a fight,
01:14:38there will be a riot,
01:14:39there will be disorder.
01:14:42And if they do not have the knowledge of their power in this world,
01:14:44there will be disorder.
01:14:45Those people who do not have the knowledge of their power in this world
01:14:47and as a result,
01:14:48there will be disorder.
01:14:49For them,
01:14:50we have made the place of the Hereafter special.
01:14:53And the end is for the righteous.
01:14:55And the end is for the righteous.
01:15:00All the companions will come to this.
01:15:03Whether he is Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him.
01:15:06And whether he is Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah,
01:15:09whether he is Hazrat Usman, may Allah be pleased with him.
01:15:12Whether he is Hazrat Hassan, Hazrat Hussain, may Allah be pleased with him.
01:15:15Whether he is Abdullah Ibn Zubair,
01:15:17whether he is Abdullah Ibn Abbas,
01:15:18whether he is Abdullah Ibn Umar,
01:15:19may Allah be pleased with them all.
01:15:21Keeping this principle in mind,
01:15:23you can disagree with anyone,
01:15:26but if you attack someone's intention,
01:15:29then in reality,
01:15:30your faith in the Prophethood will be destroyed.
01:15:32The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
01:15:36when he was going to the Battle of Tabuk,
01:15:39in Madinah,
01:15:40Hazrat Ali said to him,
01:15:42that you are taking me with women.
01:15:44He said,
01:15:45your place is with me,
01:15:48which was with Moses and Harun.
01:15:50You left Harun and went to the Jews,
01:15:53when you went to take the Torah.
01:15:55So, your place is with me.
01:15:57So, this is Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him.
01:16:00His greatness is in my sight.
01:16:03So, these are the three books.
01:16:04I don't know whether the third one is here or not.
01:16:06Anyway,
01:16:07I am recommending you to study them.
01:16:09Now, the last point is,
01:16:11what is the real purpose of our doing?
01:16:14See, why did no one do it?
01:16:17I have already explained the matter of going out.
01:16:20There was no rebellion.
01:16:21Why?
01:16:22Firstly, there was no difference between the state and the government.
01:16:24If a woman stands up,
01:16:25she will be declared a rebel,
01:16:26and she will be forced to be killed.
01:16:28She will be subject to a fatwa.
01:16:30This was the matter.
01:16:32Secondly, the building was not complete.
01:16:35It was just one floor.
01:16:37Today, where are we standing?
01:16:38The whole building has been demolished.
01:16:41There are no fair courts,
01:16:43no fair decisions,
01:16:44no divine commandments,
01:16:46no limits and regulations.
01:16:48There is nothing.
01:16:50What is our duty?
01:16:51To keep praising Hazrat Hussain.
01:16:53To keep praising him.
01:16:55To keep praising the companions.
01:16:57Who are the companions?
01:16:58For that,
01:16:59assemblies are being held.
01:17:01What are you doing?
01:17:02They were your ancestors.
01:17:04But what are you?
01:17:05You are waiting for someone.
01:17:08The nation of the heart has been created.
01:17:10You have nothing to do with it.
01:17:12That was a nation that left.
01:17:14They reached Allah.
01:17:16Whatever they earned,
01:17:17it is for them,
01:17:18not for you.
01:17:21For you,
01:17:22it will be what you will earn.
01:17:24For us,
01:17:25the path now is
01:17:26to establish the complete system of Khilafat-e-Rashida
01:17:30to establish the complete system of Khilafat-e-Nabawi.
01:17:34My book,
01:17:35cassettes,
01:17:37audio cassettes,
01:17:38video cassettes,
01:17:39CDs,
01:17:40DVDs,
01:17:41everything is available.
01:17:43I have already told you about Seerat-un-Nabi.
01:17:45If you do not understand,
01:17:46read my book.
01:17:47Otherwise,
01:17:48you will read Seerat-un-Nabi.
01:17:49You will know the facts.
01:17:50You will not find Seerat-un-Nabi.
01:17:53You will study it from my book.
01:17:55And secondly,
01:17:56the efforts we are making to establish Khilafat-e-Rashida,
01:17:59Tehrik-e-Khilafat Pakistan,
01:18:01of which I am a small advocate,
01:18:03is not an organization.
01:18:04I am not its leader.
01:18:05It is a movement.
01:18:07Like Tehrik-e-Pakistan was called,
01:18:09its organization was Muslim League.
01:18:11The party's name was Muslim League.
01:18:14But Tehrik-e-Pakistan is Tehrik-e-Pakistan.
01:18:16We have run Tehrik-e-Khilafat Pakistan
01:18:19under the Islamic organization.
01:18:22This Khilafat,
01:18:24when it started 84 years ago,
01:18:27in November 1921,
01:18:29there was a case in Khalid Dina Hall,
01:18:32as a result of which our great leaders,
01:18:36Maulana Muhammad Ali Johar,
01:18:38Maulana Hussain bin Badni,
01:18:40and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad,
01:18:41were sentenced to 2 years in prison.
01:18:44Rebellion.
01:18:45The case of rebellion.
01:18:46This was in Khalid Dina Hall.
01:18:48In this, in 1991 or 1992,
01:18:50I gave speeches for 3 days,
01:18:52in which I am going to give 3 speeches from today.
01:18:55One in the evening,
01:18:57one tomorrow evening at 9pm,
01:18:59today and tomorrow,
01:19:00one day after tomorrow at 10am.
01:19:0311pm.
01:19:04So please participate in this.
01:19:07So that the real work we have to do,
01:19:09we should understand the history,
01:19:11what are the events of history,
01:19:12what are the hidden events,
01:19:14what is the real reality of something,
01:19:16we should understand that.
01:19:18But from this perspective,
01:19:20when I used this word in that speech,
01:19:22lip service,
01:19:24that we should only do lip service,
01:19:27keep on praising,
01:19:28keep on saying the title,
01:19:30keep on saying the attributes of Huzoor,
01:19:32that will not work,
01:19:33until we fulfill the duty of
01:19:35shahadat to the people,
01:19:37which is our responsibility,
01:19:38as the nation of Muhammad,
01:19:39peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
01:19:41I am happy,
01:19:42that both of you supported this.
01:19:45Yes, this is a matter of lip service.
01:19:47Allah Almighty,
01:19:48following the footsteps of Hazrat Hussain,
01:19:50in fact,
01:19:51for us,
01:19:52he is the model of the Prophet,
01:19:53Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
01:19:55Following that,
01:19:56in Pakistan,
01:19:57we should strive to establish
01:19:59the Islamic system of Khilafat.
01:20:01I say this and ask Allah to forgive me and you
01:20:03and the rest of the Muslims.
