00:00Lotte, you came here with the ambition to win stages and now you sit here, you won a stage and the first in the history of the Giro d'Italia women.

00:09Tell us more about the last case.

00:12Yeah, they were very hectic.

00:15Yeah, a lot of roundabouts, very high speed.

00:19But yeah, I had all the amazing teammates, especially in the final who kept me in a perfect position.

00:27It was, I think, one of the best lead-outs I've ever had.

00:32So, what made the sprint successful was the lead-out of your teammates in the last case.

00:37Yeah, I think just the perfect timing.

00:39Lina Cecchini went with 5 minutes to go and Barbara took the final corner.

00:45I just started sprinting and when I passed her, she already said yes.

00:51So, it was really nice.

00:53Now you currently lead the Maglia Rosa with a difference of 43 points from Consonni.

00:57Do you think you have a good chance to keep it until the last stage?

01:00Yeah, I think it's a nice advantage already.

01:04We only have three stages to go, which are pretty hard.

01:07I think I'm the better of Consonni.

01:11So, yeah, I think it would be nice to keep it.

01:15And what about tomorrow? Do you think that tomorrow's course is made for you?

01:18I think tomorrow's course is going to be a very hard, hot day again, like yesterday.

01:24Elisa, you're a pretty complete rider. Fast, but still not a pure sprinter yet.

01:29How was today for you?

01:31Yeah, for me it was kind of an easy day.

01:35I mean, I could easily stay in the bunch and try to conserve as much energy as possible

01:42because I need the energy for the last three days.

01:47And yeah, I did not even contest the sprint.

01:50It's not my cup of tea, you know.

01:53And I was just trying to be there, staying safe.

01:57And I knew Kopecky was possibly winning this stage and that's it.

02:02Looking ahead of tomorrow's stage, what do you think that the team is going to play out?

02:07Which cards do you think they're going to use?

02:10I don't know, to be honest.

02:13I think tomorrow's stage is a little bit like a rolling dice stage.

02:19I'm really looking forward to be racing the Chieti stage.

02:23It's one of the ones that I like the most.

02:26And yeah, we look forward to tomorrow.

02:36Yeah, for sure the goal was to save as much energy as possible

02:40because the next three stages are going to be super hard.

02:43So yeah, today was an idea to recover a bit.

02:47And yeah, easier than yesterday I would say.

02:50What about tomorrow?

02:51I think tomorrow will be a super hard stage.

02:54So hopefully the legs will be back by then.

02:57And yeah, I'm looking forward to the stage.

03:05Yeah, stage 5 was quite relaxed for us.

03:08So we just tried to save energy for the upcoming days.

03:12Just stayed in the wheels and yeah.

03:14So it was quite fast but quite relaxed.

03:19Looking at the young classification,

03:21you now lead with a good margin ahead from the second one.

03:24Does it give you more morale ahead of the upcoming days?

03:27Yeah, for sure.

03:28So I'm quite happy with the result today also.

03:32And yeah, quite happy to keep the white jersey.

03:35And hopefully I can take it home and also move up in the GC.

03:39So yeah, we will see the upcoming days.

03:41Will get really, really hard.
