Diddy might have unwittingly waived the proverbial red flag in front of a bull, because his social media posts showing him enjoying life have further motivated his ex Cassie Ventura to respond through her attorney.

00:00Diddy certainly wants you to feel like he's just back to his regular life, that, you know,
00:07he posted over the weekend getting on his, aboard his private jet, and then last week
00:13we saw him whitewater rafting in Wyoming, just, you know, doing regular billionaire
00:19stuff.
00:20This is called waving a red flag in front of a bull.
00:23Yes.
00:24And this is exactly what he has done, because, as you know, one, there is the federal investigation,
00:30the grand jury, trying to nail him on, to indict him on sex trafficking, firearms, other
00:38things.
00:39And other things.
00:40And then there are the slew of lawsuits he's facing.
00:42At least six.
00:43Yes.
00:44And I think probably most troubling is the fact that we saw the video a few months ago
00:48that was from 2016 when he attacked Cassie.
00:52Which by the way, I think you could say, a lot of people said, I get the idea of innocent
00:57until proven guilty, but when you see a video like this, it cancels that out.
01:01But that much we know.
01:02Right.
01:03That much we know.
01:04The other things that they're trying to get him on, who knows.
01:05But this we know he did.
01:06And for a lot of people, that's enough.
01:07And that, so the fact that he is seemingly trying to make it seem like he's got, you
01:12know, no worries, has really rubbed some people the wrong way, including Cassie.
01:18And in fact, we spoke to Cassie's attorney, Douglas Wigder.
01:22This is what he had to say about Diddy's latest adventures.
01:25He says, I don't think whitewater rafting will prepare him for the choppy waters that
01:30lie ahead.
01:32That may seem like a lawyer just trying to make a pun there, but I think there's something
01:36a little more ominous about it in that this grand jury that has been convened, certainly
01:43if she hasn't yet, Cassie will be.
01:46And I think Cass, okay, this is speculation, but it's based on a lot of background that
01:52we have on this.
01:53I think, A, Cassie was involved in the affidavit that got a search warrant that caused the
02:00raid of his homes.
02:01And B, I think she's already testified before the grand jury.
02:04And has probably already testified.
02:06So you know, that's, like you said, an ominous quote if you're Diddy.
02:11Someone else who saw this and wanted to sound off about it is Adria English.
02:17You know that she is the woman who filed the lawsuit last week alleging that Diddy
02:22had sex trafficked her at his famous white parties back in the day.
02:28Her attorney, Ariel Mitchell Kidd, told us, after seeing Defendant Combs whitewater rafting
02:34and jetting around on his personal plane, seemingly enjoying life despite all the atrocities
02:39he has caused, Mrs. English is even more motivated to ensure justice prevails.
02:45Now, you've got to say on this that they've already kind of cast the die.
02:50That they've sued him.
02:52That the feds are going to do what they do.
02:55So they've already shown their resolve.
02:58It's just this really pisses them off.
02:59Yeah.
03:00Look, I understand these sentiments, but there's a popular idea that people think people who
03:04are under investigation or even charged with a crime are just going to sit in their home
03:09sort of reflecting on things or bow out of society.
03:12It may be the case that Diddy wants to put forth a brave face, that he believes he's
03:16innocent, notwithstanding the Cassie video on whatever charges may be coming from the
03:19federal investigation.
03:21And he just doesn't want to like curl up in a ball.
03:23And you can understand that as well.
03:24So it's very, very complicated.
03:25I mean, you could argue that he had curled up in a ball for several weeks after the raid
03:31because he remained in Miami.
03:32We really didn't see him anywhere other than a few blocks around his home where he would
03:36go for a walk every now and then.
03:39But it does feel like lately he's decided, I can't wait around forever.
03:44I don't know when this grand jury is going to come back with an indictment, if they're
03:47going to come back with an indictment.
03:48I also think that he's gotten some playbook from his PR team that you should be doing
03:56this.
03:57And I got to say, I mean, Derek, I agree with you to the extent that you have lawsuits that
04:01are unresolved.
04:02You've got a federal investigation that's unresolved.
04:05But when you see that video, it really makes a difference.
04:09That's what's making it different for everyone, I think, is the fact that we did see the Cassie
04:13video.
04:14Without that, then there's certainly, there's more of a question in the public's mind, like,
04:19did he actually do any of this stuff?
04:20That's right.
04:21I tend to agree with you guys.
04:23You think there's any part of this that is a bit of a last hurrah?
04:26You know, he feels like the curtain is closing on his life, and he wanted to whitewater raft.
04:30I don't think this is a bucket list thing.
04:33No, it's not a bucket list thing.
04:35But it's, unless we see him skydiving today or something.
04:39He's young.
04:40I don't know what he's out doing.
04:42Saseeb in Chicago, did he really should be laying low as long as these allegations are
04:47at the forefront?
04:48Because imagine that coming in front of a jury, and what are they going to say after
04:52he looks so unbothered with all these lawsuits, the pending indictment, and the allegations?
04:57So as long as that's happening, he really should be curled up in a ball.
05:01Yeah, I mean, I hear what you're saying.
05:04This could take a long, long time.
05:06I mean, you know, we're talking about a federal investigation that's very complicated.
05:11I have no idea how long it's going to take.
05:12But if he gets indicted, there's going to be a lot of motions, trial could be a year
05:18or two out, and all of these lawsuits can take easily a year or two.
05:23So we're talking a long stretch of time.
