A vigil has been held on a pier in Frankston in Melbourne’s outer south east to honour the life of a 45-year-old fisherman who was fatally stabbed last week.

00:41We're not supposed to go fishing today, but since he loves fishing and it's his passion,

01:03The alleged murderer of Mr Pancher was arrested and remanded in custody last week.
01:08He will next appear in court in three months' time.

01:16that once accompanied morning walks and fishing along this pier has been shaken and they are
01:21striving to bring back that sense of peace and safety that's been disrupted.
