Penang police chief Comm Datuk Hamzah Ahmad told a press conference on Friday (July 5) that the voters in the Sungai Bakap by-election should never simply hand over their MyKad to anyone to prevent their identity from being abused by other parties which would sabotage the democratic process.

00:02I would like to advise all of you,
00:04all of you who are coming to the meeting tomorrow,
00:06do not give a copy of your ID card
00:09to strangers.
