A large number of voters in Kuala Kubu Baharu want a Malay candidate, say Perikatan Nasional leaders over the coalition’s decision to field Hulu Selangor Bersatu acting division chief Khairul Azhari Saut.  Perikatan chairman and Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said it was the voters who asked for a Malay candidate to be given an opportunity. 03:20 the National Union candidate represents all Malaysians.

03:24 And the foundation of the National Union is an inclusive party

03:29 that will serve all Malaysians.

03:32 And there are some issues in Kuala Tubuh Baru.

03:35 As mentioned by the candidate,

03:37 he is eager to provide the best service.

03:41 And of course we want to increase the number of supporters

03:46 in the National Union.

03:48 Because we see that with strong supporters,

03:53 we can practice the principle of equality and balance

03:57 in the National Union.

03:58 And this will benefit the people of Selangor,

04:01 especially in Kuala Tubuh Baru.
