00:17It means everything. It's a black kid who grew up on black entertainment, television,

00:20in a black neighborhood, in a black city.

00:22This is the highest honor you could have.

00:24I mean, you know, I've won Grammys, I've won Indy Awards.

00:26All those have been great, but this is the one I know my 90-year-old auntie watching.

00:29You better. And I've got to ask you, you know you were in the headlines for another show.

00:37How did you feel having all that out there?

00:39I felt in the moment. I felt wrong, and I was.
