00:00I understand for this role in Landman, you quite literally gave blood, sweat, and tears.
00:05True.
00:06What happened?
00:08Are you talking about my scar that I took?
00:11Which you don't have.
00:12No, it's there. Trust me. It's there. It was traumatic.
00:18The world has already convinced itself that you are evil and I am evil.
00:25For providing them the one thing they interact with every day.
00:29No, it was crazy that two weeks before we left to go filming,
00:32I was at the treadmill class trying to get in shape.
00:34And the reality is that this was actually a very demanding role.
00:37It was like working with my dialect coach, my acting coach.
00:39And Angela is an emotional roller coaster.
00:42So it also was like in scenes, I have to be able to turn it in a dime
00:46from like laughter and joy to anger.
00:48I mean, she has so much going on.
00:50So I was working on it and I also have to spend a lot of time in bikinis
00:54and not that much clothes.
00:56And so I was running, running, running.
00:57And I went to let our puppy out of the car.
01:00I left the hatchback open.
01:01I had a hat on and I hoisted her up and I cracked the corner of my head.
01:07And I went down to the ground with blood everywhere.
01:09And it was terrifying.
01:10I literally was laid out in bed for a week.
01:12And then I had to get down there and I was high.
01:14I still had to work.
01:15I was trying to hide it from like Taylor Sheridan going,
01:18Oh my God, are they going to fire me?
01:20No, certainly not over something like that.
01:22Your talent really shines in a show like this.
01:24Thank you so much.
01:25I think many of us first fell in love with you in 2001's Legally Blonde.
01:29And in watching Landman, I have to tell you.
01:32And she was giving me major Elle Woods vibes.
01:35We've got the blonde hair, the pink bikinis,
01:38drinking by the pool, posing for revenge selfies.
01:42How much Elle Woods did you channel into this character?
01:44It was really funny for me.
01:45When I got to do Legally Blonde, I hadn't been in a big comedy before.
01:48And I was so excited to be able to be part of that
01:50with Robert Luketik and work with Reese.
01:52And there's something about that movie that still resonates and connects with people.
01:56And, you know, there's something very special about being in a project
01:59that people continue to watch year after year.
02:01And it brings them so much joy.
02:04That pink bikini by the pool, I tell you, it was giving me flashbacks.
02:07From one bikini to another.
02:09Yes.
02:10Varsity Blues, the 25th anniversary.
02:12Your buddy, James Van Der Beek, going through a difficult time right now.
02:15Have you spoken with him?
02:16I have not spoken with him,
02:17but I sent him and his beautiful children and his wife my thoughts and my prayers.
02:22Can we count on you for the Final Destination reboot that's being rumored?
02:25I don't know.
02:26I don't know anything about that.
02:27You know, it's so funny being back here at Paramount
02:29because I was literally shooting a Coca-Cola commercial across the street
02:33when I had to run across here and come and be the casting director on Varsity Blues.
02:37And I got the job.
02:38It's taking me way back being back here.
02:40So look at you now, babe.
02:42Look at you now.
02:42Oh, my God.
