00:00Well, tell me about your campaign. How do you think things went for yourself?
00:04We've been having an excellent response from the people in the streets.
00:08I've been in Blackheath Market, I've been in all over the borough with regards to Albury and in West Bromwich.
00:16Fantastic, absolutely wonderful response from the people.
00:20The thing that I am happy with, it looks like now we're coming at least second,
00:25maybe coming third, but could actually be coming second in the whole of Sandville.
00:31To me that's a wonderful success.
00:34What have been the masses that they've spoken to you about on the doorsteps?
00:38It's all been about inflation, it's been about housing issues and it's been about jobs as well.
00:46Those are the main tasks that we've got to put right, or at least Labour have got to put right now if they're going to win.
00:53Looking ahead, what can reform do to, I suppose, keep Labour honest if they are the party of power?
00:58Well, we know, hopefully, it looks like we're going to be the real opposition to Labour in Sandville.
01:05Labour's been controlling Sandville for 30, 40 years and it looks like we will be the opposition.
01:12At the moment I'm already making plans to increase the membership with regards to candidates for the next local elections.
01:22I filled in 18 candidates in the last election, a month or so ago.
01:26It's what they call an all-out in 2026, I don't know whether you're aware of that.
01:31So I've got to get a lot of candidates.
01:34The membership this last few weeks has been phenomenal.
01:40I can't get round all of the members.
01:44I've been ringing and ringing because I think that's a personal touch rather than just a blanket email.
01:49The response has been wonderful.
