00:00Paul Jenkins Express and Star, we're with Richard Shaw from the Reform UK party
00:06standing in Starbridge. Richard, how's the campaigning been going?
00:11Well, I've had a few personal things going on, so it's impacted on the campaign a little bit, you know, very much and stuff.
00:17But, from what I've seen, from what I've spoke to the people, yeah, it's positive. It's been very positive.
00:24What are your expectations for tonight? A bit early to say, maybe, but...
00:29A little bit early, but I've seen a lot more Reform votes than I thought I was going to see, to be quite honest.
00:37It's going to be a little bit closer than I thought. I was expecting maybe a squeaking into second or a solid third,
00:43but I think we're going to get a good result over the Tories, I think, possibly.
00:50And nationally, the exit polls are saying 13, I think it is, for Reform UK.
00:55Do you think that's pretty accurate as to your expectations and the party's?
00:59I think... Well, I mean, a lot of people were saying 1, 2, 3, 6, you know, maybe up to 7.
01:0513 seems like a good result, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a couple more.
01:12It could be. It could be a couple more than 13.
01:15Yeah. OK, then. Thanks for talking to us tonight and have a good evening.
01:19Thank you.
