00:00Basically, Perry Bar is alright for shopping, to get your local bits, to get what you need.
00:04It's busy because they took off the bridge not long ago.
00:08It's mega busy around here, no matter what time in the day you come in to do shopping,
00:11it's busy.
00:12And, you know, there's not much places for people to go and people to do to spare your
00:16time.
00:17You know what I mean?
00:18So, it's a hard one.
00:19I think Perry Bar is a lovely area to live in, just, it's a bit, it's a bit scary at
00:25night though, because, like, I've heard a lot of rumours about people getting robbed
00:30and all sorts of things, but in a general whole, it is a lovely place to live in.
00:35There's a lot of different range of people, atmospheres, in, like, the pubs, in restaurants.
00:43It's a nice place to live in, it's, I do enjoy living here.
00:47Yeah, sure, Perry Bar is, you know, it's a brilliant area in the sense that we've seen
00:54so many interesting things change over the last five years.
00:57So much money has been invested in Perry Bar since the Commonwealth Games.
01:01It has become like Edgbaston.
01:03About eight years ago, I said to friends and family, of course, I didn't have the money
01:06to invest in property, but if you want to invest, invest in Perry Bar.
01:12Invest in Perry Bar, because it's going to be like Edgbaston, and now it is like Edgbaston,
01:16and everybody seems to have disappeared.
01:18That's what I like about Perry Bar, it is now on par with that, only the buildings behind
01:23me right now, they're just sat, it'd be interesting to see what happens with these, I imagine
01:28they're going to be up for sale over the next few years, who knows.
01:30It's been built up because of the Commonwealth, they've renewed and built a lot of, you know,
01:37properties and what they promised was going to happen with those properties, that hasn't
01:44happened.
01:46You've got homeless people on the streets, and you've got young families who've got nowhere
01:54to live, they're in hotels, what's going on?
