Would speed limiters improve road safety?

00:00To be honest, I don't really think it matters in Birmingham, I think people just do what

00:04they want with cars, you know, they go around racing around all day all night. I don't think

00:08it really matters, you know, if you're going to change your car, now everyone's got electric,

00:11then what's it going to be in a couple of months time, right, we're going to take electric

00:13off and go back to, you know what I mean, go back to diesel. So, to be honest, in my

00:19eyes, it doesn't matter, like.

00:22It'll have a lot of impact with the road safety sort of things, because we'll have less speeders,

00:27less people that want to speed the limit or whatever, but yeah, I definitely think

00:34this is a good idea and it will have an impact on the speeding community.

00:42Well anything that will, you know, let people keep to the speed limit is, I suppose, okay,

00:51saving lives and everything, that's what we want, but, I don't know, I'm not convinced.

00:57We'll just have to see it in action.
