00:00So let's continue with the Baltimore Ravens.
00:05Now I'm excited for one player in particular for his season long play, for his wagering,
00:12his props.
00:13I mean, I'm just so excited for the new environment for Derrick Henry, but talk to me about the
00:16Baltimore Ravens overall first.
00:19You and me both, uh, Derrick Henry last year still had a great rushing season despite the
00:25fact that he played on a Tennessee Titans who could not move a chain if their life depended
00:29on it.
00:30Oh, the offense was terrible.
00:31Now he's going to a team that ran the football more than any other team, more successfully
00:35than any other team.
00:37That's right.
00:38Baltimore Ravens.
00:39It's a great opportunity for Derrick Henry.
00:40And it's funny, Matt, because in PPR leagues, you see people are kind of hating Derrick
00:47Henry.
00:48It's like, Oh, Derrick Henry has been around forever.
00:49Oh, he's 30.
00:50Look, Derrick Henry is a 10th running back off the board.
00:54Yes, please.
00:55Like, what are we doing here?
00:56I just don't understand this.
00:57You know, Kyrie Williams had a great season last year.
01:00I understand that.
01:01But Derrick Henry is closer to Josh Jacobs than he is to Christian McCaffrey in the current
01:07ADP.
01:08It makes my head hurt.
01:10And I know he is not an all purpose running back.
01:12He's not going to go out there and catch 70 balls.
01:14That's not Derrick Henry's game, but is he a guy who could maybe score 15 touchdowns?
01:18Yes.
01:19Yards are yards.
01:20Touchdowns are touchdowns.
01:21And every single year, Lamar Jackson gets thinner and thinner and has a little bit less
01:25goal line equity.
01:27And you know what?
01:28Derrick Henry has a ton of it in this offensive weight structure.
01:31Keith Mitchell is behind him as the backup.
01:32It doesn't matter.
01:33It's all going to Derrick Henry this year.
01:35Derrick Henry has a great opportunity to show everybody, remind everybody that he can be
01:39that dude.
01:41The last guy to lead the league in rushing at this age was Barry Sanders at 29.
01:45He's going to the Hall of Fame.
01:46Guess what?
01:47So is Derrick Henry someday.
01:48So there's a great opportunity here for Derrick Henry to remind everybody how good he is.
01:52And I think also take a little bit of pressure off Lamar Jackson.
01:55Now, Lamar Jackson actually coming off a year where he had his best passing season, arguably
02:01statistically.
02:02The most passing yards of his career, which is around 3,600 mark.
02:07He still did not lose any of that rushing equity that we like so much about him as a
02:11fantasy quarterback too, 821 yards rushing last year.
02:15That's more than the previous two years.
02:17So he finished his QB four.
02:19My only problem with Lamar Jackson is this.
02:22If you can draft Anthony Richardson around or two rounds later, yes, it's a little risky,
02:28but are you basically getting the same kind of player?
02:32I think the answer statistically is yes, and I think Richardson might have more rushing
02:36touchdown equity than Lamar Jackson does in 2024 with the way the Ravens are structured
02:43with Derrick Henry there and with again, the size of Lamar Jackson every year, he comes
02:47in lighter and lighter and we keep looking around going, all right, well, how does that
02:50affect this game?
02:52It's not that it has me concerned.
02:53It just means to me when we get to the goal line, I don't know if Lamar Jackson is the
02:57guy that I want.
02:58Is he still going to score some rushing touchdowns?
02:59Of course he is.
03:00Is he going to have 13 or 15?
03:02Probably not.
03:04The other thing to look at too is this wide receiver core, which I love Zay Flowers.
03:09I think you saw moments of Zay Flowers last year.
03:12I still think Zay Flowers is more of a really good number two or one A. I don't think he's
03:17a dominant guy.
03:18We shall see.
03:19Rashad Bateman's never on the field.
03:22Devontae Walker, not where I want to go.
03:26Once again, the number one target guy is probably going to be Mark Andrews in this offense,
03:29but Matt, that's where I struggle too because Mark Andrews, another guy that had some injury
03:33issues, Trey McBride, Dalton Kincaid, Kyle Pitts, all good values on that tight end board
03:39in that similar sort of ADP.
03:42So I don't know.
03:43Do I want to reach necessarily for Mark Andrews when I can wait and get Dalton Kincaid or
03:47Kyle Pitts?
03:48I think I want to wait on the younger guy, but Matt, what do you think?
03:52Do you think Mark Andrews is a guy that you just go right back down to the well and just
03:55trust that he's been the favorite target of Lamar Jackson for these many years?
04:00He's been the favorite target, but Lamar Jackson's never had Derrick Henry.
04:03It changes the entire offense.
04:04And you were talking about those goal line plays and things like that.
04:08Teams are really going to have to plan now, not just for Lamar, but for Derrick Henry
04:11as well and Mark Andrews.
04:12So I think inside of the red zone, a guy like Mark Andrews, if you open up your fantasy
04:16black book on him and you look at the projections, you can see that there could be some value
04:20there if he slips to you at the right place.
04:22Joe?
04:23Yeah, he missed a few games in 2022, missed plenty of games last year in 2023, played
04:27just 10 games.
04:29That's what hurts you the most when you get a player that's missing significant time.
04:32And can they afford to have Mark Andrews out?
04:35The answer is probably no.
04:36The Baltimore Ravens, again, Derrick Henry, huge value, St. Flowers, intriguing, Lamar
04:41Jackson.
04:42I think I might just want to wait for Richardson instead and pay a little bit less price.
