00:00The AFC North, and we'll start with the favorites, the Baltimore Ravens.
00:09Well, it's funny you say they're the favorites because it's by a slim margin if you look
00:14at the latest odds which we'll get into.
00:15So the Ravens, first of all, 10 and a half wins, right, which they should get.
00:20Minus 140 and the under is plus 115.
00:23I can't see them going under.
00:25They're going to get some of their injured players back, but we're going to get into
00:27an issue, though, that they have on defense.
00:29Then to win the North, they're a slight favorite, and we'll get into that as well, at plus 135.
00:34So if you like them to win a division, now's the time to get it at plus 135.
00:39Now, the one issue for this football team is on defense.
00:42They have a new defensive coordinator in Zach Orr.
00:44You might remember him as a player.
00:46He's been a linebackers coach for the last three years.
00:49He is just 32 years old, which he turned in June.
00:52Scott, when you look at this, he's replacing Mike McDonald, who did a great job.
00:55He's now the head coach of the Seahawks.
00:59That is a factor.
01:00A first-time play caller on defense, yes, they'll run the same scheme, but he's going
01:05to have his own way of calling it.
01:07You just don't know how well he's going to do.
01:09That's a major concern.
01:10And look, Lamar Jackson's back, of course, and then you've got really the same offensive
01:15scheme.
01:16Todd Monken is their offensive coordinator in year two with Lamar, and now you have Derek
01:20Henry.
01:21They should be incredible on offense.
01:22Is he going to hand it off to Henry?
01:24Is he going to throw it, or is he going to run?
01:25So I don't worry about the offense.
01:26It's the defense now with Zach Gore, and probably why they're only plus 135 right now.
01:31It's actually a pretty good number if you like the Ravens.
