తోటపల్లి ప్రాజెక్టుపై గత ప్రభుత్వం అలక్ష్యం
Thotapalli Project: ఉమ్మడి విజయనగరం, శ్రీకాకుళం జిల్లాల రైతుల పాలిట వరప్రదాయిని సర్దార్‌ గౌతు లచ్చన్న తోటపల్లి ప్రాజెక్టు. ఇటీవలే మంత్రి గుమ్మడి సంధ్యారాణి ప్రాజెక్టు నుంచి పొలాలకు నీరు విడుదల చేశారు. ఈ ఏడాదైనా ఆయకట్టు మొత్తానికి పుష్కలంగా సాగు నీరు అందుతుందన్న రైతుల ఆశలకు వైఎస్సార్సీపీ సర్కారు వైఫల్యాలు గండికొడుతున్నాయి. జలాశయంలో పుష్కలంగా నీరు ఉన్నా లక్షిత ఆయకట్టుకు సాగునీరు అందని పరిస్థితి నెలకొంది. గత ప్రభుత్వ అలసత్వం, అలక్ష్యం కారణంగా తోటపల్లి ప్రాజెక్టు ఆయకట్టు రైతులకు ఈ ఏడాదీ కష్టాలు తప్పేలా లేవు.
