00:00In the midst of the tension in the West Philippine Sea, the Philippines has no plans to restrict or restrict investors from China to enter the country.
00:10According to the National Economic and Development Authority, or NEDA, Secretary Arsenio Balisacan, the country is open to any investor.
00:17However, Balisacan said, for now, only 5% of the official development assistance in the country is from China.
00:25Most of it comes from other institutions.
00:29Much of our ODA have come from other sources, particularly ADB and World Bank, Japan, and so, it's not like that.
00:41There were a number of projects that were initially, that were indicated as potentially Chinese projects,
00:50but those were not, either, those were delayed, or they didn't materialize, for one reason or another,
00:57and so we had to look for funding for those other sources.
