00:00Three most wanted persons were arrested by the Police of Manila because of separate cases of theft, rape and assault.

00:08This is the first news of EJ Gomez.

00:14This 44-year-old man is no longer valid when he was arrested by the authorities because of a theft case that was filed 13 years ago.

00:26He was cornered by the members of the MPD Special Operations Unit on A. Villegas Street in Ermita, Manila until 11 a.m. yesterday.

00:34The accused was identified as Alias Gorky, a construction worker and resident of Tondo, Manila.

00:41Alias Gorky was released on bail in April 2011.

00:47Based on our intelligence gathering and series of validation, we found out that he was the one who cornered him.

00:57I refuse ma'am.

01:03I was the one who cornered him. It's my choice ma'am.

01:05I surrendered to prove that I'm not guilty.

01:09In another operation of the MPD-DSOU, the 36-year-old man was in custody because of the violation of the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.

01:22He was arrested in Barangay 766, San Andres, Bukid, Manila at 9 a.m. yesterday morning.

01:28The accused was no longer valid when he was arrested on warrant.

01:32He was released on warrant of arrest by RTC Branch 6 of Manila Family Court.

01:38He was released on July 1, 2024.

01:40Here in the barangay where he lived, he was caught by our operatives of the MPD-DSOU.

01:46We also found out that this man is a member of Bahala na Gang.

02:10Currently, both of them are in custody in the custodial facility of the Manila Police District,

02:14while waiting for the commitment order from the court to be transferred to Manila City Jail.
