00:00A woman and a police officer were injured in a hostage-taking in Cagayan de Oro City.

00:05Suddenly, the suspect entered the victim's house and stabbed her with a knife.

00:10This is Cyril Chavez of GMA Regional TV.

00:17The man was walking with a woman outside a house in Cagayan de Oro City.

00:23Later, the suspect approached the police while the sharp edge of the knife was pointed at the woman.

00:30There, the suspect negotiated to ask for a car to go home to Lanao del Norte.

00:37He was convinced to ride in a patrol car but he still did not let go of the victim.

00:43He was worried that he would hurt the woman when there were many police officers around.

00:49Until the suspect was arrested and the victim was rescued.

00:57According to the police, the suspect came from Lanao del Norte and just walked to Cagayan de Oro City.

01:20A woman and a police officer were injured in the incident.

01:24GMA Regional TV tried to get the suspect's statement but he was not allowed to appear in the media.
