00:00Before we start, the Laniña Alert has been raised today.

00:04It follows the cooling of sea surface temperatures in the Central and Eastern Pacific Oceans.

00:10According to their monitoring, there is a 70% chance that the Laniña will start in August to October

00:16and will last until the first half of 2025.

00:19It is possible that it will cause floods and landslides in various places.

00:23It is also possible that it will rain in a large part of the country this weekend due to the Southwest Monsoon or Hanging Habaga.

00:30According to the Metro Weather, there will be heavy rains in the Barm and Zamboanga Peninsulas tomorrow.

00:36And when the afternoon comes, it will rain all over Mindanao.

00:40It will continue until the evening in Caraga and Davao Region.

00:44And on Sunday afternoon, it will rain in Northern Mindanao and Caraga.

00:50This weekend, it will rain in Visayas until the evening.

00:57And in Luzon, tomorrow morning, it will rain in Mimaropa and Dicoy Region.

01:04It will continue until the afternoon and it will rain in Southern and Central Luzon, Ilocos and Cordillera Region.

01:14On Sunday, it will rain in Palawan in the morning.

01:17And when the afternoon comes, it will rain all over Luzon but it will be lessened when the evening comes.

01:24It will rain both in the afternoon and evening here in Metro Manila.
