01:17as Vice President of the United Nations Tourism General Assembly
01:21after nearly two decades.
01:23Seasoned and up-and-coming chefs from various regions of the country
01:29will be here to show the best of Filipino food.
01:31According to Kalihim,
01:33aside from helping promote the Philippines as a gastronomic destination,
01:38it will also provide opportunities for collaboration and exchange of food
01:42with international culinary experts.
01:45According to UN Tourism Ambassador for Gastronomy Tourism Chef Margarita Forres,
01:50It's a good opportunity for the Philippines to show itself as a global food destination.
01:55It's an opportunity to show the world the different culinary traditions of our country.
02:01In addition, it's an opportunity to talk to the so-called global leaders in the industry
02:08from where it's possible for the economy to benefit
02:11and for the Philippines to become a culinary hotspot.

02:15in Cebu also held the 36th Joint Commission Meeting of the Commission for East Asia and the Pacific
