00:04All right, we're just a stone's throw away from Washington, D.C.
00:11We're in Arlington, Virginia.
00:14And, well, they say this place is one of the best for hot dogs.
00:18It's called Howt-Dogs, or Howt-Dogs, I don't know how you pronounce that,
00:24but Howdy-Dogs.
00:26And hopefully they're not Howdy-Toddy, but good dogs.
00:29They've been open for a couple of years and they have two locations,
00:32this one here in Arlington and one in Alexandria.
00:36Kind of ironic that the commanders want to move to Arlington
00:41and the wizards and capitals want to move to Alexandria.
00:45So, like I said, just near Washington, but we're going to see how these hot dogs are
00:49as we go road over here at Howt-Dogs.

01:18All right, the first thing I noticed with these hot dogs
01:21is they used a New England-style bun.
01:24And they do a good job of toasting the outside,
01:28which you want to see when you see these type of buns.
01:31And the bun-to-dog ratio is solid.
01:34There's decent coloring, but let's see what the most important part is,
01:38how these hot dogs actually taste.

02:32Now, here's the chili cheese dog.
02:34Now, they have all types of dogs.
02:36They have L.A.-style dogs, Chicago-style dogs,
02:38slaughter dogs, D.C. dogs, you name it.
02:41But let's see how the chili dog tastes.

03:29These dogs are pretty good.
03:32Probably a little adjustment here or there.
03:34It could have been a triple or a home run.
03:37It's kind of a no-frills looking place, but the hot dogs are quality,
03:41and that's what's the most important part is quality hot dogs.
03:43So I definitely would recommend Hot Dogs.
