00:00Hello, good morning. An increasingly hot week of weather to come for many places, although
00:05not everywhere will be hot, not everywhere will be entirely sunny. We've got some cloud
00:08to talk about. First thing Monday, patches here and there, more extensive low cloud affecting
00:14south-western coasts and some cloud patchy rain and a fresher breeze for western Scotland
00:21and northern Ireland. The cloud here does tend to lift and break up by the afternoon.
00:24Some sunshine comes through and there'll be plenty of sunshine for southern Scotland,
00:28southern England, north Wales. Areas of cloud floating about for the Midlands and the south-east,
00:34but where the cloud does break, where we get enough sunshine, 28 Celsius the afternoon
00:39high could squeak to 29 Celsius given enough sunshine. 23 to 24 Celsius further north,
00:47perhaps 25 Celsius northern Aberdeenshire, so a very warm day across much of the UK.
00:55Then into the evening, many places turn sunnier for a time before the sun goes down and then,
01:00well, it's a fine if rather warm night with temperatures in urban centres holding up at
01:0716 or 17 Celsius. Fairly uncomfortable for sleeping I should imagine and certainly a
01:12contrast compared with the cool nights we've seen throughout much of June so far. Western
01:17Scotland, northern Ireland meanwhile, see another weak front bring thicker cloud and
01:22outbreaks of rain in first thing. Now, that will make some progress into the rest of Scotland,
01:28parts of northern England and the rest of northern Ireland during the afternoon and
01:32it could just about intensify later in the day to bring some heavier rain, particularly
01:38for north-east Scotland, a few showers for northern England and northern Ireland. With
01:43cloudier skies across northern England, Scotland and northern Ireland, it's slightly cooler,
01:47although I think it will feel quite humid. Further south, temperatures reaching 29 Celsius
01:53as the heat intensifies and then by Wednesday, it's hotter again across the south with 30
01:59degrees possible through parts of the Midlands, the south-east and east Anglia, mid to high
02:0420s elsewhere. That could spark a few thunderstorms for Wales and the south-west, that's certainly
02:10an aspect of the forecast we'll be keeping a close eye on. Further north, a lot of cloud
02:14for northern England, much of Scotland and certainly a fresher feel compared with the
02:18start of the week, but some sunshine will return to western Scotland and northern Ireland
02:22and it's mostly dry here. Then on Thursday, there's some question marks about how hot
02:27it will get in the east of England, anywhere between 28 and 32 Celsius depending on how
02:33quickly cooler air returns from the west associated with this front which will bring some spells
02:39of rain or showers and it will certainly cool down towards the north-west as the breeze
02:44picks up and frequent showers arrive. Ahead of this system, always the chance of a thundery
02:51breakdown but it's a fair few days away so we'll be watching that closely over the next
02:57few days and we'll be keeping you updated right here on our YouTube channel. Bye bye.
