00:00It was not only financial and machinery help that was provided by the administration of President R. Marquez Jr. to the farmers,
00:09but also the giving of their land to the farmers,
00:13just like one of our fellow countrymen in South Cotabato.
00:17His story is about the President and the farmers.
00:24Good day to all of you.
00:26I am Mr. Nelson Uloy of Barangay Luer, Magulan, Lake Cebu, South Cotabato.
00:31I have been farming for 26 years on 3 hectares of land that was given to me by DARA.
00:38Back then, I was just a tenant in the land that I was farming on.
00:43Because of the program of our government,
00:46I was one of the happiest beneficiaries of the Voluntary Opeto Sale or VOS
00:54that received the collective title back in 1998
00:58as a fellow countryman whose land I was farming on.
01:04Back then, I just dreamed of having my own title.
01:11Now, I have it.
01:12This is one of my dreams in life, to have my own farm.
01:17Thank you to the SPLITE Project.
01:19Now, I have my own title.
01:22I am the only one who wrote this.
01:25The Agar.ri program is alive because I now have a title and I no longer owe anything to the bank.
01:32I am thankful to our beloved President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos
01:39and to the DARA agency led by Secretary-Condado M. Estrella III.
01:45I promise to take care of the land that was given to me by our government.
01:51Once again, thank you very much and may we all live long.
01:54Thank you.
