00:00Well, we're talking about some action there that's going to extend across
00:04eastern parts of Colorado and Wyoming into Nebraska and Kansas. And some of
00:08these storms could prove to be rough and tough. We've seen some severe
00:11thunderstorm warnings issued over the last few hours. We have a moderate
00:16threat level, so nothing to laugh at. Rapid City, Scotts Bluff, even Alliance,
00:22even Fort Morgan. You could see damaging winds, large hail, isolated
00:26tornadoes. That is the zone that we're keeping an eye out on. But as we head
00:30into Saturday, Monday, we have rounds of thunderstorms on tap, mostly targeted
00:36here at the upper Midwest. Now you'll see Minneapolis fully covered in green.
00:40Now, some of these storms could potentially turn severe and drop some
00:44heavy rain. Those outdoor plans may be impacted for some as we do head into
00:49the weekend. Now, this weekend, you'll feel those changes in the air. Look at
00:52how drastic a temperatures arise heading into Sunday. Minneapolis,
00:58you're at 66. I would say you would need a jacket, but Sunday, no, you don't
01:02need a jacket. You need to be out near the pool. Unfortunately, it's going to
01:05be stormy, though. 91 there for the high Chicago 86 there on Sunday, Green Bay
01:1188. And while Omaha, we are tracking a little bit of a warm up for you as well,
01:17flirting with the triple digits there by Sunday. Now, for Saturday, the area
01:21that we're looking out on for some severe storms is going to extend across
01:25southern Canada, anywhere from Brandon down through the border of North Dakota
01:29downpours, hail, even isolated tornadoes still on tap. But we also don't forget
01:35about the winds are actually the storm acts upwards to 90 MPH. Now it's not
01:40the only area we have to be concerned about. We're also looking at Omaha.
01:44Under that moderate risk, we're talking a little bit more when it comes to
01:48coverage with the severe weather, more numerous storms with flooding,
01:51downpours, hail, even isolated tornadoes. And while those winds are going to be
01:55howling, though, as we do head into Sunday, we're going to be approaching
02:00those triple digits. And with that heat, while severe weather still hangs on,
02:05including Minneapolis late Sunday into Sunday night.
