00:00I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
00:11Ladies and gentlemen, peace and blessings be upon you. I am your host, Muhammad Raees Ahmed.
00:15And we are presenting the program, Islam and Young People.
00:20You know that it is the month of Hajj.
00:22And even before this, when the pilgrims are ready for Hajj, they are very happy.
00:32Those who are going, they are waiting with a longing that I wish we were not with them.
00:37And those who are reaching, they are thanking Allah.
00:41And it is recited on their lips,
00:43Arabic
00:51This recitation is recited on their lips.
00:53Whether they are men, women, children, elders, people of all ages,
00:58they are reciting this recitation and are moving towards the Haram.
01:02They are moving towards this great journey.
01:04So, there are many things in the Hajj of Manasi,
01:07about which questions are in our minds.
01:09For that, we invite the scholars.
01:11And by getting many things from the scholars,
01:14the questions that are in the minds of the youth,
01:16we want to convey them to you.
01:18And to convey them to the youth all over the world.
01:20So that they become so attached to religion,
01:22that as ARYQ TV is presenting,
01:24that our youth are more attached to religion than to the world.
01:29And they have a desire to get religious information.
01:32So today, Alhamdulillah, Allama Mufti Khurram Iqbal Rehmani Sahib has come with us.
01:36Peace and blessings be upon you.
01:38And with us are the youth of the country,
01:42who have a thirst for religious knowledge.
01:45And they want to become a seeker of knowledge.
01:48He has come.
01:49Peace and blessings be upon you.
01:52May you live long.
01:53Mashallah.
01:54Mashallah.
01:55We will include their questions as well.
01:56But first,
01:57because there are many things in the Hajj of Manasi,
01:59which we do not understand.
02:01Because we are sitting here.
02:02There is Waqf-e-Arafah, Muzdalifah, and many other things.
02:06Whether it is Waqf-e-Arafah, Arafat, or Maidan-e-Arafah,
02:10it is an international gathering.
02:13Which is shown in the whole world.
02:15Directly.
02:16So questions arise in the minds regarding this as well.
02:18Why is this Hajj so important?
02:20And what is its importance?
02:22What is the meaning of Arafah?
02:24What is the superiority and importance of this Maidan-e-Arafah?
02:26The people who are present here,
02:29whether they are rich or poor,
02:33but every person is seen to be in two layers.
02:37Allah is the Greatest.
02:38And he is reciting Allah's praises.
02:40He is repenting.
02:41Today we will talk about this.
02:43With us is Allama Mufti.
02:44Khurram Iqbal Rehmani.
02:45Please be seated.
02:46What light will you shed regarding our today's program?
02:49In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful.
02:50Peace and blessings of Allah be upon His Messenger,
02:52the Most Merciful.
02:53Once again, thank you very much.
02:55It is a very beautiful program.
02:56Mashallah.
02:57It is going on very well.
02:58And it is being watched with great enthusiasm.
03:00Alhamdulillah.
03:01And the real thing is to keep your young companions with you.
03:06And the authentic information of the religion.
03:08Because this is the age of propaganda.
03:10And what do people do at this time?
03:12They just search.
03:13And after searching, whatever comes up,
03:15I don't know if it is authentic or not.
03:17Who is saying it?
03:18What is being said?
03:19A lot of misconceptions are being spread.
03:22So the best way is to connect with authentic sources.
03:26Limit your access to authentic information.
03:30Absolutely.
03:31This is how the real understanding of the religion comes.
03:34In fact, love is born.
03:35The relationship with Allah and the Messenger of Allah is strengthened.
03:38And the worship that we are sitting to mention,
03:41that is the page of love.
03:43You see that the Hujjaj-e-Karam are going towards Baitullah Sharif.
03:47When you look at Baitullah,
03:49the first thing that comes to mind is the architecture of Baitullah.
03:52Who built it?
03:53Ibrahim A.S.
03:54Ibrahim A.S.
03:55Allah.
03:56Ismail A.S. has collaborated with him.
03:58Then it was built during the time of our beloved master.
04:01So the visit to Baitullah Sharif itself reminds us of the lovers of Allah.
04:05And the stone on which it was built was called Musalla.
04:07Ibrahim A.S.
04:08Ibrahim A.S.
04:09Ibrahim A.S.
04:10Ibrahim A.S.
04:11Ibrahim A.S.
04:12The stone on which Ibrahim A.S. built Baitullah Sharif,
04:16a surprise arises in the heart that our beloved master,
04:20during the time of Ibrahim A.S.,
04:22is a Waqf for 4000 years.
04:24Absolutely.
04:25I don't know how many settlements have been built in the world in 4000 years.
04:30But the settlement that our beloved master built,
04:32is present in the same place for 4000 years.
04:35Not only that settlement,
04:36but the stone on which the footprints of our beloved master are still present.
04:41The footprints of the lovers,
04:43Allah does not allow the stones to be destroyed.
04:45Amazing.
04:46When we look at Mataaf,
04:48we remember our master,
04:49we remember the companions,
04:50how they circumambulated here,
04:52raising the voices of Allah and Akbar.
04:54When we look at Mas'aa,
04:55we remember Sayyid-e-Amma Hajra,
04:57how she raised her voice.
04:59Similarly, when we go to the field of Arafat,
05:01we remember Allah's beloved ones.
05:03When we go to Muzdalifah,
05:04we remember Allah's beloved ones.
05:05When we go to Rami-e-Jamarat,
05:06we remember Allah's beloved ones.
05:08So this whole journey of Hajj,
05:10is actually a journey of faith.
05:12A journey of love.
05:13And we see that there are no special pillars,
05:16that we see that we have to do this special work.
05:19In fact,
05:20you have to go to Mina and stay there for 5 days.
05:22What you have to do in Arafat,
05:23you have to go and stay there,
05:24pray and offer prayers.
05:25What you have to do in Muzdalifah,
05:26you have to stay there all night,
05:27pray and offer prayers.
05:29The special places that you have to stay,
05:32this is the real Hajj.
05:35To stay in these places,
05:38this is Hajj.
05:39This is the special worship of Hajj.
05:41So when we see the whole scene of Hajj,
05:44and we see these places,
05:46in fact,
05:47we remember Allah's beloved ones.
05:50How they followed Allah's command.
05:52And then this whole journey of Hajj,
05:54has been going on since the time of Hazrat Ibrahim.
05:58When you built Baitullah,
06:00Allah commanded you to call people for Hajj.
06:04Now when you are being called for Hajj,
06:06you prayed in the presence of Allah.
06:10O Lord,
06:11teach us how to perform Hajj.
06:13So Allah sent Sayyiduna Jibreel-e-Ameen.
06:17Jibreel-e-Ameen taught him all these places,
06:20meaning Arafat,
06:21where Arafat stands,
06:22which is the most important part of Hajj.
06:24It is the biggest obligation of Hajj.
06:26He taught him how to stay here,
06:28how to stay for so long.
06:29Then he went to Muzdalifah.
06:31He stayed there for so long.
06:32Then he went to Mina.
06:33Then he went to Rami.
06:35Then he went to Tawaf-e-Ziyarah.
06:37He was taught all these customs.
06:40From that time,
06:41to our beloved Prophet,
06:43and to your story,
06:45till today,
06:46Alhamdulillah,
06:47these customs are being performed in the same way.
06:50So this is the memory of the beloved ones.
06:52When a person goes there,
06:53he should have this desire and hope in his heart,
06:56that see how Allah's beloved ones
06:57pleased Allah.
06:59If you look at the life of Ibrahim,
07:01his whole life is full of trials.
07:04For a long time,
07:06he did Jihad against idol worship.
07:08What was done in response to that Jihad?
07:10He was thrown into the fire.
07:12If someone else was there,
07:13he would have been scared.
07:14If you are thrown into the fire,
07:15you should not be scared.
07:16In fact, what Allah did was,
07:17that the fire which can burn the whole world,
07:20He made it glow.
07:21He made it glow for Ibrahim.
07:26Then he left from there.
07:27He had no children.
07:29Allah blessed him with a son.
07:31He prayed for many years.
07:33He was blessed with a son.
07:34Allah said,
07:35leave him in Mecca.
07:36Leave him in Be'abu Giyabadi.
07:38He was left there.
07:39So his whole life was full of trials.
07:41Our beloved Prophet's whole life was full of trials.
07:43But he never lost his faith.
07:47He always remained steadfast on the path of Allah.
07:51So this journey of Hajj teaches us that
07:53if we follow the footsteps of these beloved people,
07:55then Inshallah,
07:56we will also attain the status of acceptance in the court of Allah.
07:59What to say?
08:00Subhanallah, Subhanallah.
08:01The reason why the youth have been invited here,
08:04is that when they hear about Hajj,
08:07about its rituals,
08:09the questions that arise in their minds,
08:11they will be presented to the scholars.
08:14Who will ask the questions of our youth today?
08:16Bismillah.
08:17Tell your name and ask your question.
08:18My name is Samad.
08:20My question is that
08:21Hajj is not possible without the Waqf-e-Arafat.
08:23So what is the reason that
08:25the Waqf-e-Arafat is so important?
08:27What is the reason?
08:28Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
08:30In worship,
08:31if there is any duty,
08:32any obligation,
08:34any Sunnah,
08:35then in reality,
08:36it is a Shari'ah command.
08:37And the Shari'ah command is
08:39from Allah and His Messenger.
08:42So you can understand that
08:43there are two obligations in Hajj.
08:45One is Waqf-e-Arafat,
08:46i.e. in the field of Arafat,
08:489 Zil-Hajj,
08:49from the time of Zawal,
08:50and 10 Zil-Hajj,
08:51from the morning of Sadiq,
08:53till the very first day.
08:54If a person,
08:55wearing an Ihram,
08:56comes to the field of Arafat,
08:57even for a moment,
08:59then he is called a Hajji.
09:00This is called the complete Waqf-e-Arafat.
09:02From this much to this much,
09:03whoever comes,
09:04he is a Hajji.
09:05But what is the Sunnah?
09:06From the time of Zawal,
09:07till the sunset,
09:08he has to stay there.
09:09So as I said in the beginning,
09:11who taught all these customs?
09:13Jibreel-e-Ameer.
09:14And who did it?
09:15The Prophets.
09:16So our Beloved Prophet,
09:17peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
09:18has declared this as the
09:19greatest stop of Hajj.
09:20So there are two obligations in Hajj.
09:22One is to stay in the field of Arafat,
09:24and the other is to visit the Zil-Hajj.
09:27So this visit to the Zil-Hajj
09:28and Waqf-e-Arafat,
09:30our Beloved Prophet,
09:31peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
09:32has declared this as an obligation.
09:34That is why without Waqf-e-Arafat,
09:35the concept of Hajj is not possible.
09:37What do you have to say?
09:38Yes, in the name of Allah.
09:39Who will ask the second question?
09:40Peace be upon you.
09:41Peace be upon you.
09:42My name is Muhammad Mahshan.
09:44And my question is,
09:45what is the importance of the field of Arafat?
09:47And why is Waqf-e-Arafat performed there?
09:49Why is Waqf-e-Arafat performed there?
09:51Why is Waqf-e-Arafat performed there?
09:52First of all,
09:53it is related to the previous question.
09:55Why is it performed there?
09:56It is because Allah and His Messenger
09:57have commanded that
09:58Waqf-e-Arafat should be performed there.
09:59Alright.
10:00If we look at the importance of it,
10:02then we can say that
10:03Allah has given this blessedness
10:05to this soul of the earth.
10:06That is,
10:07Allah could have blessed
10:08any part of the earth.
10:09For example,
10:10there are many mountains in the world.
10:12Very tall mountains.
10:13But Allah has given
10:14Safa and Marwa as His signs.
10:19What are Safa and Marwa?
10:20They are the signs of Allah.
10:21So we can say that
10:22this area of the earth
10:23should have been blessed.
10:25Allah had promised
10:26that all the pilgrims of the world
10:28will come here.
10:29That is why
10:30Waqf-e-Arafat is performed here.
10:31But it also has a historical significance.
10:33Syedna Adam and
10:34Syedna Jibreel-e-Ameen
10:36when they came to the earth,
10:38they were separated for approximately
10:40300 years.
10:41They were gathered at this place.
10:43That is,
10:44they met here for the first time
10:46after 300 years.
10:47And they recognized each other.
10:49When they recognized each other,
10:51that place was called
10:52Arafat.
10:53That is,
10:54the place of recognition.
10:55Similarly,
10:56it is narrated that
10:57when Syedna Jibreel-e-Ameen
10:58taught Ibrahim-e-Salam
10:59the Hajj of Manasi,
11:00he asked him,
11:01Did you understand?
11:02It was Arafat.
11:03Did you understand?
11:04Yes, I understood.
11:05That is why
11:06this place was called
11:07Arafat.
11:08Where the Hajj of Manasi
11:09was learned.
11:10Then,
11:11it is also said that
11:12the pilgrims of the world
11:13gather here
11:14at Arafat.
11:15They are confessing their sins.
11:17That,
11:18Lord,
11:19we have sinned a lot.
11:20Give us the blessings
11:21of forgiveness.
11:22So,
11:23Arafat also means
11:24Atiyah.
11:25Because all people
11:26confess their sins.
11:27So,
11:28Atiyah is received
11:29from Allah.
11:30What?
11:31That Allah SWT
11:32has taken away
11:33all of us
11:34in this condition
11:35with our naked heads
11:36and naked bodies
11:37and we are here
11:38in a very dirty state.
11:39He has come to please me.
11:40He is calling out
11:41to me.
11:42O angel,
11:43be a witness.
11:44I have forgiven
11:45all of their sins.
11:46What is this?
11:47Glory be to Allah.
11:48Any other question?
11:49Quickly.
11:50Who will ask the question?
11:51Yes, yes.
11:52In the name of Allah.
11:53Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
11:56Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
11:58My name is Muhammad Ali
11:59and I have a question for you.
12:01What is the wisdom behind
12:02gathering prayers in Arafat?
12:04If we see it in normal days,
12:05we are not allowed
12:06to do this.
12:07Very good.
12:08It is a good question.
12:09Yes, what is your question?
12:10Kiran,
12:11when a different situation
12:12is seen,
12:13we have to ask
12:14that in other times,
12:15we are commanded
12:16that
12:17the prayer
12:18has to be offered
12:19at its appointed time.
12:20So,
12:21why is the prayer
12:22of Zuhr and Asr
12:23being gathered
12:24in Arafat?
12:25So,
12:26remember the first thing
12:27that the prayer
12:28of Zuhr and Asr
12:30because there are many hajis,
12:32Zuhr and Asr
12:33are gathered
12:34conditionally
12:35when the Imam
12:36who is giving the sermon
12:37of Hajj,
12:38those who offer prayers
12:39with him,
12:40they gather the prayers.
12:41But those who
12:42offer individual prayers,
12:43they do not offer prayers
12:44with them.
12:45That is,
12:46there are tents
12:47in their tents
12:48which are very far away
12:49because there are
12:50many lakhs of hajis.
12:51All of them
12:52cannot gather
12:53in Masjid-e-Nibra.
12:54So,
12:55those who offer
12:56prayers alone
12:57or those who
12:58offer prayers
12:59after the sermon
13:00of Hajj,
13:01they all gather
13:02and offer prayers.
13:03And the biggest reason
13:04behind this is
13:05that our Huzoor
13:06did this.
13:07Because the government
13:08gathered the prayers
13:09of Zuhr and Asr
13:10and that is why
13:11Zuhr and Asr
13:12are gathered here.
13:13Wow,
13:14what to say.
13:15Any other question?
13:16Quickly.
13:17Assalamualaikum.
13:18My name is Hamza.
13:19My question
13:20is that
13:21everyone gathers
13:22in Arafat
13:23under the open sky.
13:24However,
13:25Masjid-e-Haram
13:26is a place
13:27where the weather
13:28is cold.
13:29So,
13:30it is a logical
13:31question.
13:32There is a cold
13:33floor in Mataaf.
13:34People go around
13:35Mataaf very easily.
13:36Very cold winds
13:37are blowing
13:38in the harshest
13:39weather.
13:40So,
13:41choosing Arafat
13:42where there
13:43are warm winds
13:44and warm
13:45land,
13:46what to say?
13:47And there
13:48are no
13:49Sahibans.
13:50There are no
13:51Sahibans.
13:52Maulana Ali,
13:53someone asked
13:54a similar question
13:55from Mushkil Kusha
13:56that
13:57when people
13:58go to
13:59the palace,
14:00do they
14:01directly
14:02enter the
14:03palace?
14:04No.
14:05In fact,
14:06the palace
14:07has a
14:08boundary.
14:09It also
14:10has a
14:11protocol.
14:12It has
14:13a door.
14:14You are
14:15not
14:16allowed
14:17from there.
14:18After
14:19getting
14:20permission from
14:21there,
14:22you first
14:23enter the
14:24boundary
14:25of the
14:26palace.
14:27It is
14:28completely
14:29outside
14:30the
14:31boundaries
14:32of the
14:33palace.
14:34You
14:35can
14:36think of
14:37it as
