00:27The Anti-Red Tape Authority, or ARTA, continues its information sharing crusade

00:31to implement the ease of doing business from government agencies to local governments.

00:37At today's Central Luzon Ease of Doing Business Roadshow held by ARTA in Clark, Pampanga,

00:42one of the focuses is how to facilitate the processes and services for the agricultural industry,

00:48particularly for farmers.

00:50According to Dr. Irina Tion of the RTD4 Research and Regulatory of the Department of Agriculture, Region 3,

00:56it can help reduce the price of agricultural products, such as rice,

01:01which will enable the public to reach local farmers more quickly

01:04through the implementation of EODBs in LGUs and other agencies.

01:08If we're talking about bureaucratic efficiency,

01:12it can also result in efficiency in delivery of services

01:17and efficiency in the production of our farmers.

01:20It can have an effect on the lower reduction of production costs,

01:26especially if they can avail of proper services from the government.

01:33According to ARTA Director General, Secretary-Atorney Ernesto Perez,

01:37it's a great thing that EODBs can be implemented across the country

01:40because it can help not only the businessmen but also the economic revenue of the Philippines.

01:46We know that EODBs have a big implication on the economy

01:51if LGUs comply with the Electronic Business One Snapshot,

01:57wherein in a matter of minutes, the business permit can be processed.

02:02It should not be delayed.

02:04Let's follow the directive of the President

02:06that for all government processes and services to be streamlined and digitalized.

02:12Meanwhile, some are talking about the Client Satisfaction Measurement Report

02:17of the Paramatya Agency,

02:19which follows the government agencies and LGUs in the policies of EODBs

02:23under the Republic Act 11032,

02:26such as the creation of Citizens Charters through the Information Billboard,

02:29Handbook, Website Entry, or Digital Kiosks,

02:33wherein the internal and external public services are included.

02:37In 2028, ARTA is positive

02:39that it will not only reduce,

02:41but also eliminate the red tape caused by corruption.

02:44That is why they continue to consult the government agencies

02:48and the local government

02:50so that EODBs can be implemented across the country.
