00:39our promise to hold the Biden
00:41administration accountable
00:42when we bring to the floor our
00:44resolution to hold Attorney
00:45General Merrick Garland in
00:47contempt of Congress for
00:48refusing to comply with our
00:50subpoena and release the audio
00:52recordings of Joe Biden's
00:53interview with special counsel
00:55Robert her. It's time for
00:57the floor of the House Armed
00:59Services Committee, where we
01:01will discuss our resolution
01:02and its content and tapes.
01:04Additionally we will bring to
01:05the floor of the National
01:07Defense bill for FY 25 and as a
01:08senior member of the House Armed
01:10Services Committee, I'm proud to
01:12have helped craft this
01:13legislation securing critical
01:15wins for my home district for
01:16Fort Drum, the 10th Mountain
01:18Division and all of upstate New
01:20York. This bill also includes
01:22significant investments in
01:24emerging technology provides for
01:26an opportunity for us to
01:28better understand our
01:29situation and deter our
01:31adversaries. I also want to
01:33quickly touch upon yesterday's
01:35deposition of corrupt former
01:37disgraced New York Governor
01:39Andrew Cuomo, whose fatal
01:41nursing home order resulted in
01:43the deaths of over 15,000
01:45innocent seniors dying in
01:47nursing homes. This was a long
01:49overdue step for those families
01:51who are still mourning the loss
01:53of their loved ones in New York
01:55and I want to thank the
01:57members of the House Armed
01:59Services Committee for their
02:01support and for their
02:03answers for those families who
02:05are still grieving. Thank you
02:07to Chairman Brad Wenstrup of
02:09the Select Committee for making
02:11yesterday possible. With that
