Various provinces hold Independence Day celebration

00:04the city still took part in the nationwide celebration of the country's Independence Day.

00:15In Ilagan, Isabela, the celebration of the country's 126th Independence Day literally started with a bang or a gun salute.
00:23This was followed by the offering of flowers at the statue of our national hero at the Rizal Park.
00:32In Kandlaon, employees of the city's local government participated in the flag-raising
00:36ceremony despite the placing of the area under alert level 2 due to Kandlaon Volcano's activities.
00:42Mayor Jose Cardenas underscored the importance of continuing to provide public service,
00:47especially at a time of need. He also thanked the national government for the assistance the city
00:52has received thus far. In Baguio, the city held a simple celebration of the country's Independence
00:59Day with the fervent singing of the national anthem. Showcased in the festivities were the
01:04native cordillera dances, sayaw sa bangko, pasikat na baso, bulak-lak, among others.
01:11Mayor Benjamin Magalong said Baguio wants to reaffirm its commitment towards a future rooted
