00:00 Vital late night bus services in Preston have been saved by Lancashire County Council, but
00:05 changes across the timetable are still going ahead. The late night bus service, linking
00:10 Preston, Brookfield and Red Scar, has now been saved following a decision by Lancashire
00:14 County Council to fund them. Roads remain closed and diversions in place
00:19 two days after a disused commercial building caught fire, twice. The first fire occurred
00:25 on Friday in Blackpool as flames began to engulf Warbreck House. More than 50 fighters
00:30 from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service attended the blaze overnight into Saturday morning.
00:35 A second blaze was then again reported on Sunday when eyewitnesses reported seeing smoke
00:40 emerging once again from the building. A major road into Burnley had to be closed
00:46 on Sunday by police due to a traffic incident. The collision happened at the junction of
00:50 Tomadin Road and New Road. A Wigan 39-year-old has pleaded guilty to
01:00 attacking a family member and threatening him with a knife. Martin Wilding of Womburra
01:04 Close in Leigh assaulted Michael Wilding by beating him and threatened him with a knife

01:15 for distinguished public service was remembered by the Markham and Lancaster community when
01:20 they paid him a fond farewell. Former Sub-Postmaster and Councillor John Day, who was awarded the
