00:00 Thanks for joining us Maddy. We're at the halfway point of the Hampton League season,
00:04 north with a 6-3 record. What have you made of it so far?
00:08 It's been really good. We sort of started the season firing and playing
00:12 some really good netball. Our connections have been coming together
00:16 really, really well and we've had a few games where they've just worked
00:20 seamlessly and a couple of games where they haven't worked as good but
00:24 we are just trying to keep building on those connections and continue
00:28 playing some good netball. You had a good win today against Camperdown who are a pretty plucky
00:32 side. They have beaten South. What did you make of them? Yeah, we never were coming
00:36 into this game this week lightly. It was a hot topic at
00:40 training on Thursday night, how young and fit and firing
00:44 they are at the moment. So like I said, we didn't underestimate them one bit.
00:48 We had a really good first quarter which put us in good stead for the rest of the game.

01:00 Whitman has come back in the side. She's been away for a bit. Can you tell us about that? Yeah, Phoebe
01:04 has been up in Darwin and travelling around for a bit but I
01:08 actually said to her on Thursday that she's in the best form I've ever seen her in.
01:12 She's fit and she's ready to go and she's playing some very
01:16 good netball. So she'll step up into that open side for us with
01:20 Addy Kanady and Izzy McDow still chomping at our heels to get
01:24 on the court. So we've got some good depth at the moment. And what do you guys do
01:28 for the bye? Do you take a bit lighter or do you keep going to training?
01:32 I'm not sure yet but I'm hoping we get a rest. I'm about due for a rest.
01:36 I think we'll have the week off and get right for the
01:40 following week to take on South. And what's the morale like within the team?
01:44 You're in a pretty good position on the ladder. How are you guys feeling about your chances this year?
01:48 Really good. The camaraderie between the girls
01:52 at the moment is really good. We just said that when we got together after the game and
01:56 said it was just such a good feel on court. Like I said before our connections
02:00 are really coming together. We're a bit of a tight knit unit
02:04 this year which is really nice and that's just a reflection on court
02:08 too. We're trusting each other. We're letting those balls go.
