00:00Thanks for joining us Angus, congratulations South Laudable through the grand final, how are you feeling?
00:05Yeah great, great result, yeah it was a great game of footy, big challenge.
00:11We know South Laudable have been in the benchmark for a few years so tough contest and went right down to the wire
00:16but the boys held tough and yeah so excited to be in another grand final.
00:20And you're playing 7 and a half back this year, what's that role been like for you?
00:25Yeah it's been good, it's been a bit of a challenge, playing on some big boys each week
00:30and yeah sort of a role that I only got late in the pre-season and just took my opportunity
00:37and just glad to be playing in the 22 to be honest and yeah playing with some great blokes down there in the back line
00:43so make my job pretty easy so that's good.
00:46What do you sort of pride yourself on in that defensive half?
00:49Yeah I think just my contest, yeah just winning all half and one on ones
00:54and when I get an opportunity to run off and create and I think that's a big strength of our back line
00:58is that we've got good ball users down there and we sort of set the tone for the rest of the team
01:03with how we move the ball so it's been good.
01:05And second year at the club, second grand final, how much are you enjoying being part of North Laudable?
01:10Oh loving it, great club, I just love being around the boys and the whole community really
01:15they've just welcomed me really well and yeah it's great, we're having some success and I'm loving it
01:21so hopefully we'll give it another crack next week and we can finally get one so it'll be great.
01:26And is there anyone today you thought played particularly well?
01:29Oh yeah I think it was an even contribution for the whole team
01:33but Jackson Grundy's having an amazing year in the midfield, he's just gone strength to strength
01:37and yeah I think everyone played their role today and I think that was part of the reason we got the win so yeah.
