अल्मोड़ा लोकसभा सीट में बीजेपी प्रत्याशी अजय टम्टा ने तीसरी बार लगातार बाजी मारी है। बीजेपी प्रत्याशी अजय टम्टा ने कांग्रेस के प्रदीप टम्टा को करीब सवा दो लाख मतों के अंतर से मात दी है। अजय टम्टा की जीत पर बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं ने जोरदार खुशी मनाई। कार्यकर्ताओं ने नव निर्वाचित सांसद अजय टम्टा को अबीर-गुलाल लगाया और जमकर डांस किया। बीजेपी सांसद अजय टम्टा ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में केन्द्र सरकार ने पहाड़ी लोकसभा क्षेत्र में ऐतिहासिक काम किये। जिसके चलते जनता ने एक बार फिर अल्मोड़ा सीट पर कमल खिलाया है।
