Court Strikes Down Height Requirement for Women Firefighters

Taiwan's Constitutional Court has struck down a minimum height requirement for women who want to become firefighters. The minimum height of 160 cm is 0.5 cm above the average for women in Taiwan, automatically disqualifying more than half of potential applicants.
