07:48 Scouble getting the better of the Pirates rookie, Jared Jones, who did struggle yesterday.
07:53 Seven innings of shutout work for Scouble, only three hits allowed, eight strikeouts.
07:57 He is now seven and one this year with a 201 ERA, but it was also Skeen's day later in
08:03 the afternoon in the second leg of the doubleheader and Paul Skeen's the other rook for the Buccos.

09:49 His first loss of his MLB career.
09:52 He is now five and one.
09:54 And with an ERA that entered yesterday at 0.84, it's now up to 1.86 as the Brewers plate

10:09 Yeah, he's a great pitcher and certainly we expect him to bounce back.

10:17 But also look no further than the statistics of this game, Ben, take a look at this six
10:22 of 11 with runners in scoring position here for the Milwaukee Brewers, which also included
10:27 leaving on base only one runner.
10:29 That means making the most of your damage and they get 10 runs out of that.
10:33 Flip it over to the Chicago Cubs left on base nine runners in scoring position.
10:37 Oh, for eight.
10:38 Imagine that they went over eight with runners in scoring position, still scored six runs
10:42 with their aces on the mound and still lost that ball game to the Milwaukee Brewers.
10:46 Well seen out there, but again, you are going to lose games eventually.
10:49 And if that was your handicapping strategy, like Mark Zuniga, say, look, you can't win

10:55 And the Brewers are really hot right now at the dish as well.
10:59 When you look at the National League Central standings, Milwaukee, the only team above

11:12 They beat the Reds yesterday in Cincinnati, the Cubs and even five hundred as well.

11:18 That means the Brew crew four and a half game lead for the top spot in the National League

11:24 It also means I'm going back in on Shota Iminaga in his next start.
11:27 The Cubbies 82 this year in a 10 start.
11:30 Shota has made on the bump and he remains the National League Rookie of the Year favorite.
11:36 But the gap between him and Paul Skeens tightening ever so slightly.
11:41 I mean, odds on minus money favorite entering yesterday start now even money plus one hundred
11:47 skein second best price in front of Yamamoto for the Dodgers plus three eighty on Pittsburgh's

11:54 Yeah, we'll see how long he with that leash is going to go, because the one thing we do
11:58 know about young pitchers, sure, they're going to let you go.
12:01 But sooner than later, you might be looking at late July, late August.
12:05 And they're telling you we're going to shut schemes down for the rest of the season.
12:08 We'll see how long they let him in, but more pitching on him and his arm, obviously, than

12:19 But for my money, I still think Imanaga should be that plus one hundred favorite at this
