CATHERINE and Gabriella describe themselves as the ‘ultimate mother-daughter duo.’ Together the pair travel, shop, model and dress in matching outfits - all the time. Catherine has two other daughters - Lauren and Sophia who the pair refer to as ‘the sisters’. They think their mom and sister’s relationship is ‘weird’. Lauren said: “Everything they do together is a little extra.” Sophia added: “Everything they do is very cringe.” Catherine and Gabriella started creating videos on social media together. Gabriella said: “People love it but they also love to hate it.” Comments have ranged from positive to judgemental and have accused Catherine of having plastic surgery to look like her daughter and living life through her. Gabriella said: “If someone says online that our relationship is unhealthy like who are you? Why would we care?” While Lauren and Sophia said they agree with some of the comments about their mom and sister being over the top, they vehemently disagree with the idea that they’re neglected as daughters. Sophia said: “We definitely get a lot of attention.” Lauren added: “We don’t need any more attention, we’re good.”

00:00 We dress in matching outfits all the time.
00:03 We're just the ultimate mother-daughter duo.
00:05 People say our relationship is unhealthy.
00:07 So this is an outfit that I wore on a date,
00:10 and my mom actually came in a matching one.
00:14 Lauren and Sophia think our relationship is very weird.
00:17 Do you like the dresses?
00:18 No.
00:19 Do you want space from your mom?
00:20 Hi, I'm Catherine.
00:27 And I'm Gabriella.
00:28 Welcome to our home.
00:30 Come on in.
00:30 I bought these for us so the next time we are at the gym,
00:37 we're going to wear these.
00:38 Cute, right?
00:39 Very cute.
00:40 Tennis anyone?
00:41 Cute.
00:42 I love these.
00:44 I started dressing the girls the same as soon as they were born.
00:49 Match, match, and match with me.
00:53 We dress the same every day.
00:56 When we go shopping, we always buy two of everything.
00:58 And if I'm not with my mom, then she's
01:00 sending me pictures of things so that way she can buy two.
01:04 We're the same size.
01:06 We take the same shoe size.
01:07 We have the same hair.
01:09 We have a lot of shared interests.
01:11 What shared interests don't we have?
01:12 I know.
01:13 Oh, I love that.
01:15 Right?
01:15 We love shopping.
01:17 We love working out and leading a very healthy lifestyle.
01:20 We both love modeling and doing runway.
01:22 So we're always traveling doing something together.
01:26 We're just two peas in a pod.
01:28 This is an outfit that I wore on a date.
01:31 And my mom actually came in a matching one.
01:34 And it was super cute.
01:36 It was with someone that she did not know.
01:39 And so she didn't want me going alone, of course.
01:41 So she said, I'm coming too.
01:43 Of course.
01:44 So did you sit with them during the day?
01:45 Or were you at a different table watching?
01:47 How did it go?
01:49 Oh, no, I sat with them.
01:51 We had dinner together.
01:52 I don't know that he liked it that much.
01:54 We didn't tell him.
01:56 Let me find some of my pageant outfits to show you guys.
02:00 This was my arrival look for the pageant.
02:03 And my mom had a matching color coordinating one.
02:07 I used to compete in pageants.
02:09 I won the title of Miss Connecticut USA
02:12 and went to Miss USA.
02:13 And now Gabriella decided that she's going
02:16 to follow in my footsteps.
02:18 It's great to work towards a goal.
02:20 So it's been really cool.
02:22 And my mom's the coach.
02:23 A lot of tips and tricks that no one knows.
02:26 But I pass on my wisdom.
02:28 Exactly.
02:29 Mom, what is the first step to mastering a pageant walk?
02:33 Walk like the flamingos.
02:35 [MUSIC PLAYING]
02:39 Let's look at some other dresses over here.
02:43 How about these for the TikTok?
02:47 Maybe these.
02:48 Oh, my gosh.
02:48 I love these.
02:49 Right?
02:50 OK, we can wear those.
02:52 Look at how stunning.
02:54 All right, mom, you ready?
02:58 I'm ready.
02:59 Amazing.
03:01 I started being a content creator like four years ago.
03:03 And then my mom bet like--
03:06 I don't even know how.
03:07 You asked me to come in some of them.
03:09 And then the first time that I went in one, it went viral.
03:12 It was like 7 million.
03:13 We did some like transition ones.
03:15 With the leg.
03:15 Where it would start with me.
03:16 And then it would transition into her.
03:18 I think in the beginning, it was always
03:21 a lot of positive comments, wonderful comments.
03:25 You know, you two are twins.
03:27 She doesn't look like your mom.
03:28 She looks like your sister.
03:29 People love it.
03:30 They love it.
03:31 But they also love to hate it.
03:33 There could be a little controversy.
03:34 And then they may say a negative comment or two.
03:37 But--
03:38 A lot.
03:38 We're not bothered by it.
03:40 Yeah, we don't care.
03:41 Because the more you comment, positive or negative,
03:44 it just boosts it further.
03:45 So--
03:46 When the mama shows up, the numbers go up.
03:52 Some strange things has been that I've
03:54 had plastic surgery to look like my daughter, which I have
03:57 not had any plastic surgery.
04:00 Another strange thing is people say
04:01 that I'm living through her, which is absolutely not true.
04:05 I'm living my life.
04:06 She's living her life.
04:08 If someone says online that our relationship is unhealthy,
04:11 like, who are you?
04:13 Why would we care?
04:14 Do you want space from your mom?
04:17 I don't think I need space from my mom.
04:19 We do everything together.
04:20 And we're a good duo together.
04:23 We actually do give each other space.
04:26 She has her own career as a cosmetologist.
04:30 If tomorrow she said, mom, I don't want to match,
04:32 I'd be like, OK, that's fine.
04:34 We still want to go have our adventures together.
04:36 We're still always going to be close.
04:38 Ooh.
04:40 Twins.
04:41 Twinnin'.
04:43 Sisters, I have a surprise.
04:45 Come on up.
04:47 People think that the sisters are being left out because
04:50 they're not matching with us.
04:51 They are not left out.
04:52 They don't want to match with us.
04:54 They like sports, but we're right there supporting that.
04:58 They're more like sports--
04:59 Studying.
05:00 Yeah.
05:00 They're more--
05:01 Reading.
05:03 They're more like--
05:03 Homework.
05:04 Go ahead.
05:07 They're more like sports, school.
05:09 We're more like runway, glitz.
05:12 Travel.
05:13 Social media.
05:14 Fancy dresses.
05:15 Yeah.
05:17 I'm Lauren.
05:19 I'm 25.
05:20 And I'm Sophia, and I'm 18.
05:22 Hi, sisters.
05:23 Are you guys ready for the surprise?
05:25 We call Lauren and Sophia the sisters
05:28 because they are the sisters.
05:30 And my mom and I are always off doing something.
05:32 So then we're like, oh, where are the sisters?
05:35 Go get the sisters.
05:36 Come on, sisters.
05:36 They're the collective sisters.
05:38 Yeah.
05:38 It just makes sense.
05:39 It's cute.
05:40 Do you like the dresses?
05:41 No.
05:42 You don't like them?
05:43 It's probably expensive enough for just one.
05:45 Why do you need two?
05:47 It's a little excessive.
05:48 Lauren and Sophia think our relationship is very weird.
05:51 I think underneath they really like it.
05:53 I think underneath they like it.
05:55 No.
05:56 The things that Kath and Gab do together--
05:59 I'm your mother.
06:00 You can call me mom.
06:03 The things that they do together are a little extra.
06:07 A lot extra.
06:08 Gab and our mom--
06:10 definitely mom-- everything they do is very cringe.
06:14 We're good.
06:15 Hug me.
06:16 We're good.
06:16 Why can't you hug me?
06:18 I would never voluntarily join a TikTok or match with them.
06:25 On Christmas, Gab made us do--
06:29 we get matching PJs.
06:30 That's the only kind of matching I would do.
06:32 But we do have to remember that for years and years and years
06:38 from the time they were born, they matched.
06:40 When we--
06:41 Not voluntarily.
06:42 Yeah, when we couldn't pick out our clothes,
06:45 we were put in matching dresses.
06:47 And you know what?
06:48 We're starting a trend.
06:49 We have seen many people--
06:51 mother, daughters, family members-- starting to match.
06:55 But is it--
06:55 I don't think--
06:56 But is it ever--
06:57 We're starting a trend.
06:58 --a 23, a 24-year-old and--
07:01 how old?
07:02 No.
07:03 It's a mom and her baby baby.
07:06 Not true.
07:07 Not true.
07:08 We definitely see the comments mostly saying that it's so
07:12 weird or hating on Kath for being so over the top with Gab.
07:19 And sometimes they feel bad, but they also do it to themselves.
07:22 Yeah, some of the things we agree with,
07:24 like the over the topness.
07:25 But some of it that we're neglected.
07:30 Always hating on Kath being like, well,
07:32 you have two other daughters.
07:33 Give them some attention.
07:35 We definitely get a lot of attention.
07:37 We don't need any more attention.
07:39 We're good.
07:40 Yes, we get lots of support in our things.
07:43 We just don't like to join them.
07:44 All right, let's head out.
07:46 Woo!
07:46 OK, go ahead.
07:47 Let's go change.
07:47 We'll be back.
07:48 Bye!
07:48 Woo!
07:49 Why are you swirling your dress?
07:51 Doot-doot, doot-doot.
07:53 You can try the dress on if you want.
07:55 That's OK.
07:56 Aren't they pretty?
07:57 Come on, Mom.
07:58 Bye-bye.
07:58 OK, go get changed.
08:04 So we definitely do a lot of things together as a family.
08:08 Let's take a selfie of the four of us.
08:11 All right, come here.
08:13 Come on, selfie.
08:13 Selfie.
08:15 All together, we like to go to the beach.
08:16 Can we all agree on that beach?
08:18 Yes.
08:18 Yeah, keep backing up.
08:19 Keep backing up.
08:20 Ah!
08:21 [LAUGHTER]
08:22 Ah!
08:23 Lauren and Sophia, does your mom ever
08:25 try to chaperone your dates?
08:27 If Kath ever tried to come on a date with me,
08:30 I would be mortified.
08:32 I really don't think that's necessary at all.
08:35 All right, straw on the way out.
08:38 Straw, straw, yes, yes.
08:42 Do you think your relationship will ever change?
08:44 I think as time goes on, we will even be closer.
08:48 I do agree with that.
08:50 And if I ever do get a man's one day,
08:52 then he will have to deal with the both of us.
08:55 Lucky him.
08:56 [LAUGHTER]
08:58 [MUSIC PLAYING]
09:01 Maybe we should fire her.
09:06 [LAUGHTER]
09:06 OK.
09:07 Can you say something nice about me?
09:09 My gosh.
09:10 Do they have bloopers with this?
09:12 [AUDIO OUT]
09:16 [AUDIO OUT]
09:19 [AUDIO OUT]
09:23 [BLANK_AUDIO]
