00:00 Hello. For many, Tuesday will be cloudier and cooler than Monday.
00:04 And again, there will be a few thunderstorms around.
00:07 Met Office warnings are in place.
00:09 We are kind of in place between low pressure systems at the moment.
00:14 The winds are fairly light, but the low pressure systems are starting to drift up from the south.
00:19 And they're going to generate wet weather over the next few days.
00:22 For many, though, it's going to be dry on Monday night.
00:25 Thunderstorms fading from the west of Northern Ireland.
00:28 Cloud thickening across eastern England.
00:30 Some outbreaks of rain will spread in across the East Midlands,
00:33 parts of East Anglia up towards Lincolnshire through the early hours.
00:36 Elsewhere, most places dry.
00:38 The heart may well return to the coasts across the far northeast.
00:42 But for most, dry.
00:43 Some decent clear spells will allow those temperatures to tumble three to five degrees in rural parts across Scotland.
00:50 Further south, most of us staying in double digits.
00:53 On to Tuesday. It is a messy old day.
00:55 We're going to have much more cloud over the Midlands and eastern England compared to Monday.
00:59 There will be some outbreaks of rain working across the North Midlands up towards northern England, maybe into north Wales.
01:06 Again, it's Northern Ireland with a big risk of some thunderstorms.
01:09 But not alone.
01:10 Parts of southwest England also seeing some hit and miss downpours wherever the downpours occur.
01:15 That's the potential for local flooding and also lightning strikes that could cause some disruption.
01:21 And we're looking at some further showers coming into eastern England through the afternoon.
01:25 I said it was pretty messy.
01:26 We'll see some brighter spells across southern and western Scotland.
01:30 Some fine sunshine here.
01:32 One or two scattered showers over the mountains of Scotland after a murky start.
01:36 Orkney should brighten up, but the ha and fret may well continue to affect some of those North Sea coasts a little further south.
01:43 That will suppress the temperatures, as will the increased cloud over central parts.
01:48 But a brightness will still sneak up to 20 degrees in one or two places, particularly western Scotland, maybe along the south coast.
01:55 But for many, a little bit cooler than Monday.
01:58 Still potential for heavy thundery showers rumbling on into Tuesday evening, particularly for northern Ireland and southwest England.
02:05 But then eyes out east as cloud and outbreaks of rain come in from the North Sea.
02:10 Bit of uncertainty about the timing of this rain and how far in it extends during Wednesday.
02:16 But it could be a pretty soggy day for parts of central and eastern England and a good part of Scotland and even further south and west.
02:23 Some heavy showers are likely to break out during Wednesday afternoon.
02:26 Again, the potential for thunderstorms here and there also.
02:30 So the weather continuing to keep us on our toes through the rest of this week.
02:34 Again, temperature wise cool on those eastern coasts, particularly with that persistent rain.
02:39 A bit of brightness. We might sneak up to 20 Celsius, but generally a little cooler and a little cloudy and turning wetter.
02:45 As the week goes on, particularly over eastern areas for a full week ahead forecast.
