00:00 >> Do you have any connections up here at University of Washington or
00:03 just the city itself?
00:05 >> No, I don't have too many connections.
00:07 Probably the closest connection I'd have was with Coach Salem and Coach James.
00:12 So he'd talk about him sometimes, but besides that,
00:15 I have never been to Seattle before this time.
00:19 But now I've been here, the sun's out, beautiful to see the mountains.
00:23 It's awesome.
00:24 >> What's surprised you so far being up here?
00:27 >> Everybody says it rains a lot and it hasn't rained too much since I've been
00:30 here, so it's been nice.
00:33 It's a good city.
00:34 >> Do you feel like your safety group is a veteran corps?
00:38 >> We got two veterans and a couple young guys working to enhance
00:44 the communication and the understanding of defense with the older guys and
00:48 bring the young guys along with them.
00:50 And I think Cam and McKell have done a great job so far,
00:54 giving them, the young guys, little nuggets of the defense,
00:59 how to anticipate, how to communicate, and they've done a great job so far.
01:04 >> What's your assessment of Dyson McCutcheon?
01:05 Obviously, he's got a lot of reps with the ones.
01:07 Dyson McCutcheon, obviously, he's got a lot of reps and kind of a merciless guy.
01:10 Where do you see him kind of fitting in?
01:11 >> I think he's done a great job this spring.
01:13 It's too early to say exactly where anybody's gonna fit into this defense
01:16 right now, we're just out evaluating players.
01:19 But he's done a great job so far.
01:21 He's learned the defense, he understands the defense.
01:25 He's really performed pretty well so far during the spring.
01:28 We'll see how it continues.
