00:00 Welcome to NTFA Premier Tips Round 7, I'm Brian Allen from The Examiner.
00:05 First up we're looking at the Bracknell v Georgetown game at Bracknell.
00:09 I think Bracknell will win this one by 15 points, but I'm expecting a really even game at Bluegum Park.
00:16 I think Bracknell are better than their 1-4 record so far this season, they've only had the one win against Scottsdale.
00:25 They've lost a couple of close ones against Bridge North and Hillwood, I just think they'll be strong enough.
00:32 But in saying that, Georgetown have had their one win against Dalloran and have proved that they've much improved this season.
00:40 So yeah, it'll be close.
00:43 In the next game we've got Roche-Rolie v Longford.
00:46 I think Roche-Rolie will win this by 20 points in an absolute cracker.
00:51 These two teams played off in the 2022 Grand Final with Longford getting the Premiership win that day.
00:59 Roche-Rolie won last year's Premiership, so they're the two recent powerhouses of the competition.
01:06 They've both had strong starts to this season.
01:09 Speaking of both, their coaches are really motivated to post early wins to try and secure their final spot.
01:17 Nice and early in case they have injuries in the back end of the season.
01:22 But overall, I just think Roche-Rolie have a few more experienced top-line players, thinking of Jordan Cousins and Josh Ponting, that could ultimately prove the difference on the weekend.
01:35 The next one is Dalloran v Scottsdale at Dalloran.
01:40 I think Dalloran will win this one by 10 points.
01:43 They're the two winless teams of the competition so far.
01:47 Overall, I just think it would be great for all the players if they had a really even contest.
01:52 Unfortunately, both sides have been on the end of some blowouts.
01:56 That's always difficult as a player.
01:59 But if they could have a really close contest on the weekend, that would be great to see.
02:07 On this game, Dalloran over the off-season recruited some North Launceston players.
02:14 Alex Diprose from La Trobe, which I think with their recruits and their form last year, that's probably going to get them over the line.
02:23 Then with Scottsdale, you've got Jesse Crichton, who's a former Friot AFL player.
02:29 He's played the last couple of weeks and is kicking goals.
02:33 It would be a good chance to go and watch him if you can.
02:38 Lastly, you've got Bridgnorth v Hillwood, which is another absolute belter of a game really because of Hillwood's last year's grand final.
02:50 Bridgnorth have really come on this year with a host of Launceston Blues recruits.
02:56 I think Bridgnorth will win by 7 points at Parrot Park.
03:00 The reason being, Hillwood were really gallant against Roche-Rolie on the weekend, but they're missing Hamish Leedham.
03:08 Coach Jake Pearce says he might be out for a couple of more weeks with a knee injury.
03:12 Basically, Hamish is a dominant recruit and it's a massive loss for them.
03:18 They take on a Parrot's outfit that have been in really good form and are really pushing for the top four.
03:28 Just another great game that you could go to this weekend.
03:35 Finally, South Launceston have the bye. I hope you enjoy your footy.
