00:05 Peanut butter is delicious with bread, of course with Kare-Kare.
00:09 But have you tried peanut butter with noodles?
00:14 We have store-bought noodles here, packaged.
00:18 But we just want to elevate it by adding some elements, like our Ajitsuki Tamago.
00:25 Another critical part when you're doing Ajitsuki Tamago is the boiling time.
00:31 So typically, it's boiled from 6 minutes 15 seconds to 6 minutes 30 seconds.
00:39 So that's one of the most critical steps.
00:42 And after it meets the 6 minutes and 30 seconds cooking time,
00:49 you need to soak it in ice water because that will stop the cooking process.
00:55 The flavor of our ramen eggs is our soy base.
01:01 You can definitely just use an ordinary, typical soy sauce that you can buy in groceries.
01:08 But for more complexity of flavor, this is what we normally do.
01:13 So I'll have here, maybe one cup of water.

01:20 And then we'll just add in soy sauce, brown sugar, and mirin.

01:34 And to add more flavor, we'll add ginger and garlic.
01:42 So we'll boil this for more or less 5 minutes, just to combine the flavors.
01:48 And then we can add it to our boiled eggs.

01:54 To really soak the marinade in our eggs,
01:58 we'll soak it for at least 6 hours in our soy base.
02:04 So we have here the most seasoned noodles or ramen.
02:10 And then we'll just mix it in a bowl with our peanut butter.

02:20 Now, we'll make the broth.
02:23 So the soy base that we made, I just added water,
02:27 and I'll boil our beef tongue.

02:34 So we've removed the beef tongue.
02:36 We'll use the same broth to boil our noodles.

02:51 Now for the assembly, in our bowl, at the bottom,
02:55 we'll just add our peanut butter with the noodles' sauce.
02:59 And then we'll just add more flavor to the ramen eggs.
