00:36 I don't know, today is a hard start so it's hard to control for a team. I think it's hard to control for UAE so we just have to see.

00:46 But there are so many strong riders here that it's anyway quite hard to go in a breakaway so we have to see.

00:51 Do you think the luck can turn today at Pratini Tivo for you, maybe in a breakaway?

00:57 Yeah, if the life decides like that then yes it will turn. I don't know if it will happen, I hope for it. I feel a bit my body, I also wasn't so lucky so far but I think it's more than enough to do well. It's up to the day, I think I'm ready for it.

01:20 Alexei, exactly one month ago, April 11th, you won at Pratini Tivo. Do you feel like you are the defending champion today?

01:27 Yeah, it's a super good memory for me. Yesterday I did some journalists, now it's a very high level here in the Giro, not like the Giro del Lambruso.

01:44 But also the Giro del Lambruso is a strong team like where I am but today I think it's a different race for everyone but now the Giro d'Italia is more high.

01:58 The last Australian with this beautiful white jersey, Jai Hindley, ended up winning the Giro d'Italia two years later. Do you see this jersey as the beginning of your career?

02:10 I really hope so. It's been a whirlwind year, wearing the yellow in Paris-Nice and now the white here. It's really special.

02:19 It's a little goal I had at the start of the Giro to hopefully be in this jersey for a day. I'm definitely not expecting to keep it after today or to Rome but I'll enjoy today and I'll try my hardest and see what happens.
