Plans for a massive new solar farm on Anglesey have been put forward, which would make it by far the biggest anywhere in the uk. The proposed maen hir site would produce enough electricity to power 130 thousand homes and would be over 5 times bigger than the current largest site currently active in Britain in Shotwick, also in north wales.
