00:18What are the sports books saying about the over-under win total for the Chargers in 2020?
00:23Yeah, right now it's listed at 7.5 with modest minus 130 juice on the over.
00:28It's actually one of my favorite bets.
00:30I think the Chargers should fly over this total.
00:32I get they're playing, for what my money is, the toughest division in the NFL in the AFC
00:37West, but this is one of the most talented teams in the league on both sides of the ball.
00:42I think Tyrod Taylor will be a competent quarterback leading up to Justin Herbert eventually taking
00:47this job at midseason.
00:49Health has always been a concern, it feels like, with the Chargers, and so it's tough
00:52to predict, but if they stay relatively healthy, this is a team that can not only go over this
00:57total but could win double-digit games.
01:01I'm with you on the double-digit games because I think the Chargers really improved their
01:04roster this year.
01:05A lot of injuries from a year ago kind of prevented them from getting where they needed
01:09to be.
01:10They have the second easiest home schedule, the fifth easiest overall schedule.
01:15Jason, what are you projecting for this team's win total in 2020?
01:21I'm with Jamie.
01:22I think they're in for a pretty big rebound.
01:23If you look at how they performed last year, they were statistical underachievers.
01:28They had a plus-minus barely in the negative.
01:31That's extremely hard to do for a team that only wins five games.
01:34There's a lot of positive aggression to the mean that we can factor in here.
01:37Then you talk about all that improvement that you and Jamie went over, and frankly, just
01:42all those injured players that are coming back to health.
01:44Derwin James missed virtually the entire season.
01:46Joey Bosa dealt with injuries for part of the year.
01:49Melvin Ingram dealt with injuries for part of the year.
01:51Mike Williams dealt with injuries for part of the year.
01:53Even if all of those things don't work out, the Chargers can still be a team that goes
01:57over that seven-and-a-half win total.
