00:17Josh, I'm going to go to you first.
00:18Let's talk about Kyrie, Kaelin, Travis, Kelsey both have an ADP of late first, early second
00:25round.
00:26What do you make of that?
00:27Yeah, it's funny to talk about value and every talking at the very beginning of the draft
00:30like that, but those are the two guys in this offense I feel most confident in maybe except
00:35for Mahomes because the game's a little different for quarterbacks, but I just cannot see a
00:39world where Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelsey aren't getting you that value back.
00:44Maybe there's an injury issue, but that's always a concern with all these weapons in
00:48this offense.
00:49McCole Hardman, Sammy Watkins, Clyde Edwards-O'Leary, Damian Williams in the backfield.
00:52There are always names here, man, there's a lot of talent.
00:55I think Hill and Kelsey are going to get consistently fed by Mahomes and in some ways
00:58Andy Reid.
00:59I think those two guys are going to get you that return on investment even really high
01:03in the draft.
01:05The next player on the Chiefs with the highest ADP is quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
01:09Ben, where do you come down on drafting a quarterback within those first couple rounds
01:14of fantasy drafts?
01:15Yeah, I'm in the minority of trying to go ahead and save on quarterbacks.
01:20I just don't think somebody like Mahomes, even though he's a stud at every level and
01:24you can make the argument of whether or not it's him or Lamar Jackson is that top quarterback
01:27off the board.
01:28There's just so much inherent value late in fantasy drafts at the quarterback spot that
01:32it doesn't make that much of a difference.
01:34Now, the last couple of years I think have been more statistical outliers, but Mahomes
01:37is still going to throw for right around 300 yards per game, still around two, three touchdowns.
01:40And he has arguably the best offense to work with in the NFL.
01:44So I'm passing on Mahomes when it comes to that particular ADP.
01:47But you could absolutely make a legitimate argument that if he goes and has an MVP type
01:51caliber season, that he blows the water out, out of the rest of the quarterbacks in this
01:55class.
01:56So I'm going to probably wait and maybe I'll be proven wrong.
01:59But I do think Mahomes is warranting good top tier second, third round fantasy value.
