00:00 The Chargers beat the Cincinnati Bengals 16 to 13, not a pretty win for
00:03 the Chargers.
00:04 Came down to a Reggie Bullock missed field goal at the end of the game.
00:08 Seems like he pulled something and he got injured and it went right, right.
00:11 So Chargers celebrated the victory.
00:14 Anthony Linton after the game that he felt like the offense was sluggish,
00:18 to say the least.
00:19 He liked that Tyrod Taylor took care of the ball his first start in over 700 days
00:25 for the quarterback.
00:26 He had his moments.
00:27 He had a nice 36 yard pass to Mike Williams.
00:31 I had some other times where he did well, but he had two fourth quarter or
00:36 fourth down conversions where the team couldn't get it.
00:39 But at the end, Anthony Linton says that he cares about the victory and
00:43 cares that Tyrod did not turn the ball over.
00:45 That's something big with Anthony Linton.
00:47 He said he likes when his team doesn't turn the ball over.
00:50 I mean, any coach does, but he emphasizes that.
00:53 He said there were two and O against the turnovers.
00:56 The defense was a story of this game.
00:59 Chargers defense in the first half, sack Joe Burrow three times.
01:02 Jerry Tillery had an impressive sack.
01:03 Joey Bosa was wrecking the game for, was wrecking the offensive line for
01:08 the Bengals.
01:09 And Uchenna Nuosu had a nice sack also.
01:12 In the second half, Denzel Perryman, there was a handoff to Joe Mixon and
01:18 Denzel Perryman comes in and just knocks the ball out of his hands.
01:22 Nick Vigil, former Bengal, picks up the ball and he ends up recovering the fumble.
01:28 Big play in the second half where Joe Burrow rolls out in the fourth quarter,
01:33 Joe Burrow rolls out to the left hand side.
01:36 He shovels it and Melvin Ingram is able to intercept the ball.
01:39 Defense played very well today.
01:41 Player that shined was running back Joshua Kelly.
01:45 He had a couple of big time plays in the second half, 26 yard run.
01:50 And then he's capped off a drive with a touchdown, his first career touchdown.
01:54 So he was very excited after the game saying that he couldn't sleep last night
01:58 because of the nerves.
01:59 He said that he was picturing just different scenarios in his head.
02:02 I don't know if he pictured a touchdown or not, but
02:04 he was a big part of why the team won today.
02:06 Chargers will have the rest of the week to kind of see what they did wrong.
02:11 Anthony Lindsay, you already noticed a couple of things that the team did wrong.
02:14 But next weekend, they face Kansas City at SoFi Stadium.
02:17 That'll be a tough game against the reigning Super Bowl champs.
02:20 But continue checking out my page.
02:22 I'm Fernando Ramirez for Sports Illustrated Chargers Reporter.
