00:00 Hey there, everybody. Fernando Ramirez from SoFi Stadium. Chargers beat the Atlanta Falcons 20-17.
00:06 It was a very interesting game to say the least, especially the ending.
00:11 The Atlanta Falcons today tweeted out a picture of that Spider-Man meme where the two identical Spider-Mans are pointing at each other.
00:19 And it was the Chargers and the Falcons. Both of them have given up big leads. Both of them have given up big victories to the opposing team.
00:27 So today, something had to give. At the end of the game, let's just start there.
00:32 At the end of the game, Matt Ryan throws an interception. Jaleel Adai gets it.
00:36 It looks like the Chargers might go down the field and win the game.
00:40 Justin Herbert is intercepted by the Atlanta Falcons.
00:44 And they come down the field. Atlanta comes down the field again.
00:48 And then Michael Davis intercepts Matt Ryan.
00:51 And Justin Herbert was able to lead the Chargers to victory.
00:54 Michael Badgley hits the game-winning field goal.
00:57 Kind of a confidence booster for him. He's had a very strange season.
01:01 He's missed 10 kicks this season. He missed a game winner against--a potential game winner against the New Orleans Saints.
01:07 He wins the game today for the Chargers. But Justin Herbert was just very impressive.
01:12 The rookie had two touchdowns. He had about 200 yards.
01:16 What really impressed about him was the fact that at one point, Brian Bulaga was out of the game.
01:21 Trey Turner was out of the game. Both of them were out with--they were being evaluated for concussions.
01:26 Keenan Allen--or Mike Williams was out with a back injury almost the entire game.
01:30 And then Keenan Allen went out in that final--the final two drives, he was dealing with some soreness.
01:35 That's what Anthony Lynn told us after the game. Big win for him.
01:39 Justin was able to lead the team to get that field goal.
01:42 Big pass to Tyron Johnson. Tyron Johnson got a game ball today.
01:46 Another one of those undrafted rookie receivers that the Chargers have on the team.
01:50 He made some big plays today. Number 83 for the Chargers. Made some big plays for them.
01:54 He's been more of a vertical down the field threat. Today he was doing a little bit of everything.
02:00 Chargers really--Anthony Lynn said, "Big win." He was very impressed with Justin Herbert being able to do that.
02:07 With some of the pieces missing. Keenan Allen said after the game that he, again, is very impressed with Justin Herbert.
02:15 That he feels like he's learning every single time he's out there on the field.
02:18 Austin Eckler was also impressed. There was an interesting play that Keenan called a dime.
02:23 Justin--the first touchdown of the game, Justin Herbert rolls--or first touchdown for the Chargers.
02:28 Justin rolls to his right and goes off his back foot and throws it to Keenan.
02:32 Keenan catches it and he just called it a dime.
02:34 Not a lot of quarterbacks can make that throw, but Justin certainly can.
02:38 Big win for the Chargers, 20-17. I mean, they're 4-9 right now.
02:44 They're kind of fighting for that top 10 draft pick.
02:49 This is what Anthony Lynn said, that after a game like they had last week and the week before.
02:56 The losses to Buffalo and the blowout loss to New England.
03:00 This is a good win for them in gaining momentum going towards the end of the season.
03:04 Short week for the Chargers. This week they go to Las Vegas to play the Raiders for the first time since the Raiders moved to Las Vegas.
03:11 Short week. It's a Thursday night game.
03:14 Raiders just lost to the Indianapolis Colts, Phillip Rivers Colts, 44-20 I believe.
03:21 And it was just a bad game for the Raiders. Their defense gave up a lot of yards.
03:27 It'll be an interesting game this week because we just don't know what Chargers team is going to show up
03:32 in the sense of Will Trey Turner, Brian Bulaga, Mike Williams.
03:37 Will some of these guys be able to play? If not, it'll just make it that much more challenging for the Chargers.
03:43 The game to watch for is Cleveland against the Baltimore Ravens.
03:47 If Cleveland loses that game, then the Raiders control their own destiny moving forward in the playoffs.
03:52 So that just gives it more meaning for the Raiders, that Thursday night game against the Chargers.
03:56 So it'll be an interesting matchup. Like I said, short week, Thursday night.
