Who should you be buying in fantasy football
Transcript
00:00 We try to help you set your DFS lineups for DraftKings every week by going over
00:04 the low ownership and bargain buy players with SI fantasy and gambling
00:09 analyst Ben Heisler and Michael Fabiano. Fabs, I know you have some bargain buys.
00:13 You can check out all of your bargain buy recommendations in your Start and
00:17 Sit articles, but why don't you give us three of the players that you have your
00:20 eye on to pay down this week. Let's start off with Mitchell Trubisky. You know, if
00:25 he played every game against the Detroit Lions, we'd be calling him Hall of Fame
00:29 Mitch. He's only $5,400 on DraftKings and he has played Detroit just
00:36 brilliantly over his career. In the last four games he's played against the
00:39 Lions, 13 total touchdowns, 26 points per game. The Lions have allowed six
00:44 quarterbacks to score 19 plus fantasy points against them. So go with Hall of
00:49 Fame Mitch against Detroit. Frank Gore, like I get it. This guy is like 50 years
00:55 old, but look at his numbers. All right, he played 32 snaps last week. He had
00:59 86 yards over 11 fantasy points against Miami. He's at a 48% touch here over his
01:04 last two games, and now he's got the Raiders. They've allowed 15 total
01:08 touchdowns and the fourth most fantasy points to running backs. Nine backs have
01:12 scored 15 plus fantasy points against Las Vegas, including Ido Smith last week.
01:17 So Frank Gore in his mid thirties is suddenly a valuable DFS option at only
01:24 $4,400. And then finally, a wide receiver. I really love Corey Davis this
01:28 week, guys. He scored double digit fantasy points in all but one game. He's
01:31 averaging right around 13 fantasy points per game as the Titans number two wide
01:35 receiver. The bronze defense is brutal on the road. All right, they have a lot
01:39 of eight touchdowns, the most fantasy points to wide receivers on the road.
01:43 It's 51.8 fantasy points per game to home wide receivers. That's just
01:47 unbelievable. And remember, Denzel Ward is expected to be out. Ronnie Harrison
01:52 is also hurt. Greedy Williams has already been out. There's no timetable
01:56 for his return. So this is a smash spot not only for Corey Davis, but for, of
02:01 course, Ryan Tannehill and A. J. Brown love some of those discounted players
02:05 for week 13 fabs and Ben. I actually think that you have Corey Davis as one
02:10 of your low ownership players. So we're double dipping here. Not only is he a
02:13 bargain by, but he also should have some low ownership for this week. Yeah,
02:17 we're double dipping the Corey Davis chip. I'm excited about it. I can even
02:22 start with him. Fabs mentioned all the different reasons to consider him. But
02:25 this guy is averaging almost 23 yards per reception over his last couple
02:30 games, and he hasn't gotten into the end zone. A. J. Brown's been so good
02:33 after the catch that he tends to be the forgotten man and with an ideal matchup
02:37 this week and also with so much ownership likely going towards Derek
02:41 Henry, because let's face it, guys. Derek Henry has one fantasy championships
02:45 during this time of year over the last several years. I think this is a great
02:48 opportunity to go to the Tennessee air raid offense and go with A. J. Brown
02:53 and Corey Davis and Ryan Tannehill is a possible stack. So I'm very much
02:57 advocating for Corey Davis, not just as a low ownership play, but also as a
03:02 value play as well as $5100. Couple other guys that I like as far as low
03:05 ownership goes. Jared Goff of the L. A. Rams is coming into 5800 bucks. He's on
03:10 the road in Arizona. He has carved up the Cardinals defense since Vance
03:14 Joseph has taken over averaging over 28 draft Kings points per game. He hasn't
03:19 turned the ball over. He's averaging over 371 passing yards, so he's going
03:24 above that 300 yard bonus on draft Kings and beyond. And for less than
03:28 6000 bucks, guys, this is an opportunity where Jared Goff could have
03:31 one of the highest ceilings at the quarterback spot amongst anybody. And
03:35 then I also like Miles Sanders this week for the Philadelphia Eagles going
03:38 up on the road at Green Bay. The Packers have allowed the second most draft
03:42 Kings points against running backs all season long. If the Eagles air going to
03:47 get back to basics, if they're gonna try and figure out a way to be able to
03:51 stay involved, I think it has to start with Miles Sanders. We've seen his
03:54 target share not be where it needs to be. They're gonna have to get him
03:57 involved in a mismatch opportunity all game long against Green Bay, and I
04:01 think it starts with Miles Sanders both as a runner and also as a receiver in
04:04 this offense.
04:05 Better than fabs. Thanks for that great DFS insight. We have more draft King
04:10 strategy that you can find by going to s I dot com slash gambling game stacks,
04:14 player props, player optimizer. It's all right there for you. Go to draft. Go
04:19 to s I dot com slash gambling.
