00:00Absolutely. You know, repetitions are so important.
00:03Being around your teammates on a daily basis is so important.
00:06And last year's offseason was drastically different.
00:09He didn't have those opportunities to get on the field,
00:12get in the huddle, be in a meeting room with his teammates.
00:15He didn't have the opportunity for in-person learning with his coaches.
00:19And yet Justin, as we all know, is a very intelligent young man.
00:23And there's a lot of intelligent young men that can't take that,
00:27that their IQ and translated into being a good football player or a smart football player.
00:34But he has, you know, football intelligence beyond just having intelligence.
00:39And he also has a great work ethic.
00:41And so we know that, you know,
00:43he would take the things that he learned in those Zoom meetings with his coaches,
00:47and he would study every little detail.
00:50There's no way he could perform the way he did without doing that.
00:53And not everybody does that.
00:54So that's that commitment aspect that you have to have if you're going to be a great quarterback.
00:59There's been many, many talented kids that have come out of college that have the arm talent,
01:04that, you know, seemingly have everything they need to be a great NFL quarterback.
01:09And they don't succeed at the level of Justin because they're not willing to put the work in.
01:14And Justin humbled himself, and he put the work in, and it was important to him.
01:20And he built confidence amongst his teammates.
01:22And then when Tyrod went down, and Justin came in, and he played so well early,
01:27it was a, you know, situation where everyone said,
01:29hey, what are we going to do now?
01:31Are we going to put Tyrod back in or leave Justin?
01:34And, you know, with all due respect to Tyrod Taylor,
01:36they made the right decision by putting Justin Fields on,
01:39or I'm sorry, Justin Herbert on the field.
