00:00And Michael, thanks for joining us today.
00:05Our first question will come from Bridget Condon.
00:08Go ahead, Bridget.
00:10Michael, congratulations on the win.
00:11You and Javante, really two players
00:14who kind of look like they feed off of each other.
00:16You both had over 150 rushing yards,
00:18the first time that's ever happened since 1981 for Carolina.
00:21How much do you guys kind of feed off of each other's runs
00:25and hype each other up?
00:27Yeah, a lot.
00:29Thank you for the question.
00:32I feel like me and Javante, we just feed off of each other
00:35in the realest sense.
00:36Literally, Javante breaks off a long one,
00:39I got to have the next one, or vice versa.
00:42And, you know, we're always competing.
00:43It's always friendly because, you know,
00:45we're brothers at the end of the day,
00:46and we would never let something like football
00:48get in between that.
00:49But to answer the question, yeah, we do compete all game,
00:52and it's friendly, you know,
00:53so it's a good environment to be in.
00:59Okay, let's go to Deena King.
01:01Hey, Michael, congrats on the win.
01:03I just want your thoughts
01:04on your offensive line performance today.
01:08Yeah, I thought they blocked up front great.
01:11She turned to green.
01:13But, yeah, I thought they blocked up front great,
01:15and I'm really proud of them.
01:17I'm really thankful for them more than anything.
01:20The best offensive line I've ever had in my life.
01:22They're amazing.
01:24They're amazing.
01:25They're just so amazing.
01:28There's no other word.
01:30They had such a great day,
01:31and they do the same thing in practice.
01:32They take hard coaching, and they just get better from it.
01:35They don't take it personal.
01:36And that's just a sign of a great offensive line,
01:39big, nasty guys that get it done.
01:41And to follow up, the last two times
01:43y'all played Virginia Tech,
01:44how sweet is it to finally beat the Hokies?
01:49Yeah, I feel good because going back to my sophomore year,
01:54same type of game,
01:56and I ended on the wrong side of it.
01:58And it felt like it was all my fault.
02:00And so just to be able to, you know, one, get the team win,
02:04and two, you know, just kind of let that go to bed,
02:09that feeling go to rest, it's a good day.
02:13Thank you.
02:16Let's go to Alyssa Rae.
02:17Go ahead, Alyssa.
02:20Matt Brown said earlier this week
02:22to see the potential of this offense,
02:24you guys just needed to settle down and have fun.
02:26Do you think you did that today?
02:29I think so. I think that we could be more consistent,
02:31but I do think that we had a lot of fun today,
02:33and that was the difference.
02:34We just lately, we've been a very humble team
02:39on the offensive side of the ball,
02:40and we weren't the best offense,
02:42if not the best in the nation, then I feel like we should
02:45carry ourselves like that more often.
02:48We've been hearing about the Hokies run game
02:50all week long to go out there and do what you guys did.
02:52How good did that feel?
02:54Felt really good because, you know, any time, you know,
02:57and salute to those other running backs
02:59that they had, great players.
03:02Well, I feel like at the same time,
03:03me and Javante are the best running backs in the nation,
03:05and I'm going to stand on it every week.
03:06So, it was good just to let's go head to head
03:10and see who the best,
03:11and I think we came out on top today.
03:16All right, Marissa Rawald. Go ahead, Marissa.
03:20Marissa Rawald with Sports Extra.
03:21Great game today.
03:22My question is, what was it like to play
03:24in front of fans and family today,
03:26and how did the crowd really affect your energy
03:28on the field and your motivation?
03:31Yeah, it was cool. I think my motivation is internal,
03:34but I think the atmosphere was great today,
03:36and I'm very thankful that we have the fans that we do
03:39that are willing to really risk their lives
03:41to come to Seattle to play football.
03:43It means a lot.
03:45Awesome. Thank you so much.
03:48Okay, let's go to C.L. Brown. Go ahead, C.L.
03:52And, Michael, you just mentioned your motivation is internal,
03:55but how much do you feel like you and Javante,
03:59maybe it's because y'all split carries
04:01and it's not just one feature back doing everything,
04:03but how much do you feel like you guys
04:05don't really get your due nationally?
04:10I think after this, we will, and I think it's a credit.
04:14It's really a credit and a lot of respect
04:16to the other players that we have on the team,
04:18just going from Sam to De'Ami, to Daz, Garrett Walston.
04:24We're all NFL guys.
04:26Toe Groves, Antoine Green, Bunker Brothers, playmakers.
04:30We have so many that you see most teams
04:33that have one or two guys get recognition.
04:35It's because that's who they feed through.
04:37You know what I'm saying?
04:38That's who the offense goes through.
04:40With our offense, we can go any way, any week,
04:44and that's the difference, and I think that even after that
04:47happens, we don't always get the attention that we need.
04:49We don't need it because at the end of the day,
04:52the film is going to speak for itself.
04:55And finally, being able to play in back-to-back weeks,
05:01do you feel like that had anything to do with you guys
05:03maybe having a better rhythm going into this game
05:06as opposed to when you guys played
05:08Syracuse and Boston College?
05:11Yeah, definitely.
05:13I feel like it felt like a real football season game today.
05:17We played last Saturday. We're going to play this Saturday.
05:20We're going to play next Saturday.
05:21So it felt like it felt really good to be in
05:23and have a rhythm just like have some consistency
05:26at least for the time being.
05:28So, yeah, it was good that we got to play back-to-back game.
05:33All right, Michael, thanks for your time today.
05:35We appreciate it.
05:37Shout to my family and vote.
05:39Yeah.
05:41Thank you, Michael. We got Sam Howell here to wrap it up.
