00:00Great. It's been a strange week with the different schedule,
00:06but the players have handled it very, very well.
00:09They had a great practice today.
00:10They were spirited and focused and maybe in some way
00:14getting out there on Monday while they were sore
00:17after a difficult game.
00:18Tuesday being off was better for them this week
00:21as they move forward.
00:23Duke's got a really good running game.
00:25We haven't stopped the run well.
00:27They've got very good special teams.
00:29We haven't been very good. We haven't been consistent.
00:32Their front seven is really good.
00:34The two ends are as good as we'll play,
00:37and the secondary is much improved over last year.
00:40Their team, to me, is very much like a situation
00:43we had with Virginia and Florida State.
00:45They're better teams than their record,
00:47and if Duke hadn't turned the ball over so many times,
00:50their record would be much, much better.
00:51So we've got our hands full,
00:53and we've got to play good on Saturday
00:55to have a chance to win.

00:58because we had a great week's practice last week.

01:03Went into the game, so it was probably
01:04the best week's practice we've had.
01:06So the guys practice hard about all the time.
01:09Every now and then we'll have a day that's not quite as good,
01:11and I usually bring it up, but they're trying.
01:15I'm excited about this team moving forward.
01:18They're resilient. They're tough.
01:20They've handled this COVID stuff incredibly.
01:25Kids, we've had a lot of kids
01:26that have made a mistake in a game
01:28that have really hurt us,
01:29and they keep fighting back and do it with tremendous pride.
01:32So we're about to be really good.
01:34I don't know when it is,
01:36but I'm excited about the future of this team.
01:38I've got a whole lot on my plate,
01:40and I've got a lot of things I've got to fix,
01:42and the victory bell is not one of them
01:43where it is during the game.
01:45But I did suggest last year that we keep it away
01:48from the bench of one of the two teams.
01:51So after the game,
01:52one's not fighting with the other over it.
01:54So thanks for bringing that up.
