00:00 Yeah, actually, my exams fit out for me pretty well.
00:02 I got most of them out of the way,
00:03 so I was able to watch them.
00:05 But at the same time, they have a bye week, too.
00:08 So studying them, you want to be on top of all their tendencies,
00:12 but they also have a bye week,
00:13 and they're also studying us, too.
00:15 So we're also throwing some wrinkles in at practice
00:17 just to make sure we're on top of everything.
00:20 Just getting in the film room, getting all the guys together,
00:23 whether it's the D-line, the front seven,
00:25 or if that's the back end with the DBs,
00:28 getting in the meeting room with them with our extra days off.
00:31 And we're almost done with exams,
00:33 so we'll have extra time to study and get film room
00:36 and just making sure we're on top of everything
00:38 with our communications
00:39 because we have a lot of checks this week.
00:42 Well, this week, I think they don't really run the tempo
00:48 as much as most of the other teams we see in the ACC.
00:50 They usually take their time coming up to the line.
00:53 So I don't think being as tired would be as a factor
00:57 because we'll have time in between snaps.
00:59 We'll have 20, 30 seconds to be able to look at the scheme
01:03 or look at the formation instead of most times
01:05 we only get about five or six seconds
01:06 to look at the formation and the ball snap.
01:08 So they take a little bit longer time getting set up
01:11 and getting the ball snap.
01:12 So I think getting fresh legs for the D-line
01:14 or the secondary or for the linebackers
01:16 would be a key thing for us this week.
01:19 And it would be easier to do because they don't tempo
01:22 as much as the other teams.
01:25 Well, first of all, Notre Dame does a really good job
01:28 of running the ball and passing the ball.
01:30 They're really balanced offensively.
01:32 So for me, it's just getting in with the D-line
01:34 and getting in with the secondary
01:36 as many times during the week as I can
01:37 and talking over our checks.
01:41 Notre Dame likes to attack your weaknesses,
01:42 and we've seen that overtake throughout the year.
01:44 So getting in with the guys with the front seven
01:47 and the back end is really important this week.
01:51 Yeah, it does.
01:52 I mean, they're two top teams coming into the country.
01:54 Obviously, maybe this one has a little bit more juice
01:57 packed into it since we're playing at 330 on a Friday night
02:00 and we're on national TV a day after Thanksgiving
02:03 and everybody's watching.
02:05 So, yeah, I do look at it kind of the same thing last year.
02:10 Absolutely.
02:11 I remember saying that after the loss last year.
02:15 Obviously, I mean, there are no moral victories,
02:18 but looking back and looking on film,
02:20 I mean, we went toe to toe with the number one team
02:23 in the country, and I feel like that spread
02:25 throughout the locker room,
02:26 and everybody got a lot more confidence
02:28 coming after that game, even though we did lose the game.
02:31 Our team got a step of confidence.
